I still haven't bothered updating to 1.6, what's the most recent version that's 1.5.6 compatible?

That's a lot of rabbits... Does it auto-sell the excess rabbits?

I am confused as I am not sure how to test that the mod works, or how to configure it... I am aware it might conflict with the newest version of Stardew Valley of course.
With other mods I can access a config menu from the Main Menu of the game, so I wonder, do I have to config stuff manually with BreedLikeRabbits?

You go into the mod's folder and edit the config.json file with a text editor of your choice.
It gets created after the first launch with the mod installed.

is that compatible with animal husbandry? animal husbandry changes how pregnancy works for animals... is it still possible to have multiple babies with it?

Hey there. I'm not mod author nor am I answering particularly timely but I thought I'd share my experience with both mods.
If you artificially inseminate your rabbits with Animal Husbandry you will only get one child.
If you allow this particular mod to do it's own litter prompts, you will get a proper litter.
You can still use Animal Husbandry to feed your Rabbits treats to boost their mood and friendship, which should allow you to get more babies, faster.

The mods work pretty well together. As long as you don't artificially inseminate your stock and let them do it naturally, you'll be fine. If you get impatient waiting for them to breed, go into the config and shorten the "BaseRate" value to something smaller. I'd do it slowly so you don't have all your rabbits get pregnant overnight.

good this mod exists. seriously, what were they thinking, not allowing rabbits to reproduce? It's what they're known for!

Exactly, it's a little strange for the rabbits to be the only animal unable to reproduce in the game. Oh well, at least modding is possible so that can be fixed

The default rabbits are actually fixed... (wink) They thought it was a bad idea to let them breed.
  9. thanks for the mod i will use it because i am trying to make my whole farm with a barn or coop designated to a certain animal and i only bought 1 or 2 so this helps with rabbits

Hi, I just saw your to-do list, does this mean you can't name new rabbits that are added to your farm?

Hey there, the to-do list is a little poorly explained so allow me to clarify:
All offspring come with the default name "Rabbit", so it is on my to-do list to allow the naming of new rabbits before they're added to the farm.

Thanks for replying! I can still name them after they've been added to the farm, right?

Of course! Being able to rename them after they've been added to the farm is possible.
