So only rice and taro work on these fields? Can you recommend any mods that add more paddy crops?

I love the concept, buthave a question.

Will you make it so modded paddy crops would be plantable on the paddies?
Because I tried it with modded crops and it doesn't work.

It definitely does work, I used only modded crops in the screenshots. I've also tested a variety of other mods with custom paddy crops and they work as intended. Which mod did you try?

      Cornucopia

      I used wasabi

Update: my dumbass realized I had to till the soil. Sorry for wasting your time

In love with this mod, it's beautiful!

A possible suggestion/selfish request. Would it be possible to make another variant that is one tile shorter and one tile narrower? My farm map has laid out areas for farming that looks visibly different from the rest of the grass and these are just one tile bigger than those, and the slight overlap is currently driving me bonkers xD

If not, I totally understand, just figured I'd ask!

    Lovely mod again!

Looks awesome, just a question, are rice shoots planted on these fields considered irrigated, or its just an auto-watered field?

And any chance of different size options? Like smaller squares or horizontal/vertical lines?

    Great job!

It's irrigated for paddy crops specifically. Regular crops won't be watered automatically.

Hmm, well technically you could, I suppose, make smaller fields, but the building itself always has the same water range (5 tiles, I think), so there's nothing stopping you just tilling the area adjacent to the paddy in whatever shape you want. As for built in assets, I don't know that I'd have time/energy to make a bunch of options, but you're free to edit the asset for your own use!

Neat mod!  I never really liked having to either traipse to the river and plant on the margins there, or water like any other crop.

Curiosity question:  Is there a technical reason the center is unplantable or was it an esthetic choice?

Hadi mentioned in response to an earlier comment it was a technical issue. It'd require C# code to do.

      Thanks.  I guess I'll settle for 48/49ths then.  :-)

As Lenne said, it's a complicated workaround to implement without C#Trust me, my OCD wanted full paddies, lol. The best I could do was make it a passable tile for decoration purposes.

Congrats on release Hadi! I am pumped to finally have my paddy crops closer to my house instead of far away by the river on my map lol

Thanks for the tip about the Place Anything Anywhere mod to decorate the center of the paddy field <3

You're welcome! I wasn't very happy with the clunkiness of the original patch (I'm relearning how to do things with CP after a very long absence) so I wanted to make it more user friendly

Yes, having to choose between the two types was a struggle lol.

Dynamic tokens do be scary on first use. But they'll become second nature to you, you'll see!

You're very welcome! I just wish I could make the middle tile tillable as well, but that would require a c# mod I'm not capable of coding. >_<
