I was looking at this link and couldn't find it either. However, I did find an "unofficial" update on page 54 (https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/updating-mods-for-stardew-valley-1-4.156000/page-54#post-3357614 - see post #1079 by strobelight from 1/13/20). You have to be a member of the forum in order to actually download the .zip, so I haven't tried this yet - debating on whether I really want to make a username just to go on there once and download one thing.
I love the concept but would you mind releasing a version that doesn't apply to your livestock? I don't think this would be compatible with the Animal Husbandry mod as-is.
This mod is delightful, thank you so much! It's a wonderful detail to be able to show my animals a little extra appreciation every once in a while. I am pretty sad that I'm unable to give my horse treats... not sure which mod could be competing with it, or if it would also happen on a vanilla game. I tried removing both mods affecting my horse directly (Better Horses Epona and Horse Whistle by icepuente) and still wasn't able to give her any apples. :( She also wasn't wearing a hat, so that wasn't the problem either. My SMAPI log doesn't report anything as attempted and failed, so I can't really puzzle it out, but I just wanted to mention so that you have more information if you're troubleshooting at any point. And again, thank you so much for creating this mod! It's such a great idea. My animals thank you too!
Oh! I almost forgot to ask, but does the quality of the item affect the animals?
Is there a specific area of Animal Husbandry that this mod isn't compatible with that you've found?
Edit: Since Animal Husbandry has its own treating ability, I'm not sure why someone who uses AH would also use this mod. Could you explain a bit why you're interested in both?
not op but I use this mod alongside ah due to the ability to be able to treat my horse as well :P Animal husbandry doesn't let you by default, it just affects animals you can interact with.
thank you! So it seems i can only treat my horse when it's not wearing a hat.... and there's no way to remove the hat in the game. I tried removing other mods too. It's not bothering me anymore but it there a way to fix it?
