About this mod

Adds a functional dye cabinet as furniture for your home, so you don't have to run to Emily's every time you want to dye your clothes.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Changelogs
Are you tired of running to Emily's house every time you want to dye in-game clothes or those added by Content Patcher or Json Assets? Do you miss Home Sewing Kit and Portable Dye Pots? Say no more, friend. Dyeing clothes from the comfort of your farmhouse is back!

HOW IT WORKS
The day after Emily drops by your house to ramble about ‘cloth’ and give you access to her sewing machine, Robin will start selling the At-Home Dye Cabinet in her shop!

The price of your dye cabinet is fully configurable. The default is 5000.

IMPORTANT NOTE

You won't be able to use the dye cabinet until you've seen the event with Emily after acquiring your first piece of cloth. As far as I can tell, the DyePot action seems to be hardcoded into the game as tied to this event. As such, I've made it that Robin won't sell it until then. If you prefer to spawn in the item using CJB Item Spawner, that's fine! but know that it won't work until the event with Emily is done.

This mod pairs well with Unlock Dye Menu. Upon clicking the dye cabinet, you'll be able to bypass the process of selecting individual items to start dyeing.

Anyone is welcome to make an AT retexture of the dye cabinet sprite--no permissions required--as the asset is from the game itself.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
This mod is the spiritual successor to Home Sewing Kit by MouseyPounds and PortableDye Pots by CopperSun. As a person who loves playing around with fashion in the game and has way too many clothing packs, these mods were must-haves for me and I am grateful for the time and effort these modders put into those mods! :D

Special thanks to Pathoschild, the creator of ContentPatcher, and sophiesalacia whose Calcifer mod made this possible!
