Every time I load a save, my character's head starts continuously emitting bubbles. Although casting an expression can resolve the issue, it's still quite bothersome.
I was previously using version 1.0.0. When I updated, I did not see any mention of a bug fix in this regard, which is why I provided feedback. If it has been fixed, I am glad.
I also have this issue, even with the updated file, and even when I uninstall the mod. My save is now bugged after using the mod. Not sure what to do about it.
If you're on version 1.1.1, please try entering the game again and loading into a new day. If the issue still happens, could you share your SMAPI log through this link? https://smapi.io/log
I love this mod, but it seems I'm having a similar problem as well. However, I have an event that starts as soon as the day starts, and now the event is unplayable... (It's an SDVE event). I removed the mod, but the bubble still pops up, and I'm still stuck. I'm unsure if it's SDVE's or this mod... Here's my SMAPi log if it could help with this error... I'm not sure who to reach out to as of now.
It looks like this was a bug in the Interactive Emotes mod version 1.0.0, which I’ve already fixed in version 1.1.1. However, you’ll need to sleep or reload to the next day for the bug to clear. If you’re stuck in an event, try typing this command into the SMAPI console debug eventover if you're still stuck in an event use this command debug endevent Sorry for wasting your time.
It's okay. It doesn't really affect my gameplay much since I can skip the event and play it. I wish the event hadn't happened as soon as we woke up, just so that I have time to correct the error...

Just after finished a stardew yt video yesterday about we project our feelings towards pixel characters in a one way manner and we'll never know if that's also the case irl... and i find this amazing mod today. Great mod!!!!
Which version of Stardew Valley are you currently using? What version of SMAPI do you have installed? did you extract the zip file directly into your Stardew Valley/Mods folder?
Inside the Interactive Emote folder do you see both the InteractiveEmotes.dll and manifest.json files?
all I see from the image are npc repeating what emote you post, which is impressive but not worth downloading...yet could you add image of more different scenarios?
