Hey, folks! This mod simply changes the text from the letters sent by Mom and Dad to lottery winning/losing notifications.
I'm weird and didn't like how these letters were said to come from your parents (something I've also always disliked in Animal Crossing), and since they give you money and assorted items, I figured, why not? So, sometimes you'll be lucky and get gold... and sometimes you'll get a consolation prize. I find it much more entertaining this way.
Keep in mind this will not be compatible with other mods that edit mail.xnb, such as Bird Replacments for Babies and Toddlers, unless you unpack both files separately and merge the contents. You've been warned.
To install, make a backup of your files and unzip the Content folder into your Stardew Valley folder, overwriting everything. If you're using Steam, the location should be "Steam\steamapps\Stardew Valley".
