Does anyone know if previous versions work still? This mod basically breaks the museum/makes it a bit harder because it either doesnt work in or removes the spawning in the desert, mountains, and ginger island.
Edit: Version 1.1.0 works with the current version of Stardew valley.
Which version was it that you tested and is working? I thought this mod just added additional spots on certain maps... it doesn't disable the normally artifact spot spawns in the other areas, does it?
As far as I know, 1.1.0 simply increases artifact spawn rates. it alters the code permanently so the increased spawn rates stay the same even if you remove the mod, but you can just adjust the amount in the config first to make it more like vanilla.
1.4.1 however was released with the mountains having zero artifacts spawning, and with wonky distribution to other locations such as the desert and town.
So use version 1.1.0. It works with the recent release. the only drawback is they might spawn where you can't reach them.
Edit: Also the artifacts spawning in areas you can't reach is less likely to happen if you keep the numbers a bit lower. I have SVE, Walk to the Desert, Ridgeside Valley, and East Scarp installed and 100 dig spots so far has not caused any bad spawning locations.
Does anybody know if there is a way to make this work in Grampelton Fields? I so need to fill that with artifact spots and just mow it down with the tractor. 😁

I just noticed dig spot won't spawn on Ginger Island and the Mountain (as you mentioned) for the 1.6 update version. I was just wondering if you are planning to make an update to fix that. Thanks for your work anyway!
Hi this mod altered my save file? is there any way to get the amount of artifact spots back to normal? I am new and didn't realize I had to make a backup save.
There's a command that was added. If you write help in the console, it'll list available commands. I'm out of town for work right now, so I can't check what it is. But the command should remove modded artifact slots. The next update will make it so that the mod doesn't affect the save file itself.
I have it not spawning in the mountain on purpose. But I will definitely look into it when I get back into town. In working out of town at the moment.
But in the mean time, if you would go to https://smapi.io/log and follow the directions there. Then share the link, I can look into the log and see if it gives any information.
Hi, I just noticed that there are some locations, like the mountain area, that don't seem to have increased spawns, and I don't see the location mentioned in the config file. Is there a problem with some areas, that it won't work perhaps? Is this a mistake that could be fixed in the config?
The mountain not being there is an oversight by me while trying to make sure the artifact spots spawned where a player can currently get to them. In the next update, I will have this fixed. Thanks for the report.
Yo first thanx for your work, but can you make an updated version for mobile as well? Cuz smapi on mobile still 3.18.3 and your mod needs an updated smapi version.

not sure if its solely the new farm type, but no artifact spawn in the new meadow farm it seems!
