Vanilla Professions Plus: Utilizes RandomItemID for fish changes, which my mod currently doesn't handle. Expect a fix in the next version.
In the latest update, some of the fish weather specifically in the HUD is inaccurate (likely a typo with conditions). A quick fix for this will be uploaded soon.
If you have a ton of fish, there seems to be some pretty heavy performance hits in a big save with the HUD toggling. The next major update will be focused on performance enhancements.
Just wondering any updates on the next update to fix the issues with VPP and the performance issues? I had to remove the mod from my game due to the issues and would lovee to add it back asap :( I miss herrr
I really like your mod, its simple and just what I wanted/needed :) If I may suggest, it would be great if you could add a setting that lets players move the HUD to their preferred location, either by using a drag-and-drop feature or adjusting XYZ coordinates with sliders.
Great mod! Really loving the new UIs, and this is now my go-to Fishing overlay. It's so clean and useful :)
Would it be possible to add an exclusion list for the mod? I like using mods like Joja Cola Expanded, and those items show up in the fishing menu, even though they can't be caught.
if i have vanilla professions plus should it be fine to download it??
if so what do i need to disable for it to work in either mod??
is it better for me to wait until a new update drops??
just wondering since i constantly be forgetting what fish can be caught and ya girl has a modding problem to the point where my bf, a modded skyrim player, is like "hon? i think ya got enough mods"
Fish Helper will throw a multitude of errors and may not function correctly due to the presence of Vanilla Professions Plus, since it modifies vanilla fish behavior in a way the UI is not currently designed for. A fix is coming, but for now you'll have to play with one or the other!
Thank you so much for creating this wonderful mod! I have two questions or suggestions:
When enabling "Fish Helper UI" through Stardrop mod manager, I noticed its prerequisite "StardewUI" wasn't auto-selected. It would be super helpful if you could add explicit dependencies field in the manifest.json file.
The terminal currently outputs FishInfo messages (possibly debug commands) when checking fish information. While these are valuable for development, regular players might perceive them as "spam messages". Would you consider adding a toggle in config files to mute debug logs, or perhaps filter non-essential outputs by default?
Thank you again for your amazing work! Looking forward to seeing the mod evolve.

any alternatives for vpp that works with this mod??
i love the idea of leveling up past 10 since i have 100% this game in 1.5
i just thought about something??
aren't the fish changes just in the perk tree feature??
just wondering since i know there's an option in the config to disable the skill tree or just disable the perk overall
