Hey! Just wanted to let you know that this mod doesn’t need the “Translation” tag, as the tag is normally reserved for mods that have the sole purpose of translating another mod. This means many people filter out the tag and your mod may not pop up on their feed! I’d recommend replacing it with the languages the main mod supports, so “English" and any other languages included on this page. Thank you for your time, and happy modding!
Seems like Nexus auto adds the tag if you use the checkmark to indicate that you have translation files. I removed the tag though, thanks for the heads up.
I'm still looking into providing a UI to let you set any item to a toolbar slot but that's going to require a lot of extra work. For now I've added support for bombs in version 1.0.7

The error appears when i have the starting 12 slots only. It doesn't appear & the tools auto-arrange if i change row, even if i haven't upgraded the backpack & have only 1. It also doesn't appear if i first buy the upgrades & then move the tools (they auto-arrange).
Thank you for your report! I managed to recreate the issue. There was a small error in the handling of possible multiple toolbars that would mostly trigger for new saves. It's been fixed in the new 1.0.6 version
First off, thank you for creating this mod! Would have loved this mod, been looking for something like this. Unfortunately it's not working for me, the tools stay always in the first 6 assigned slots, even when swapping the toolbar, though some of the items in the last 6 slots will circle through (but it looks like it only swaps two bars instead of three) Kinda difficult to explain, sorry. I am not sure if Bigger Backpack might be messing this up? (I have not even purchased the bigger backpack in game yet, but it might be the culprit, or some other mod is not compatible.)
The tools staying was kind of the easy way to keep things working. The moment you swap toolbars the slot numbers change and what used to be slot 1 in bar 2 is now slow 1 in bar 1 so the tools will stay.
I've been meaning to try and keep track of how the bars have been swapped and see if I can make it so that the tools stay in their original toolbar but I've not put the time into it yet. If I make it work I'll make sure to update the mod. The bigger backpack itself shouldn't be an issue though.
The moment you switch toolbars what used to be bar 2 now turns into bar 1 so everything gets moved there. I'm gonna make an update where I try and keep track of these bar movements and hopefully stop this behavior.
Hello! Could you please add an option to keep the tools in the same place when I sort my backpack? I am an obsessive compulsive person and I like to sort my backpack! But when I click, the tools are back to their original positions every time and I need to re-sort them. I am very distressed. If you can, I will be very grateful! !
Love, love, LOVE this concept! I'm in agreement with the other post on here asking for support to be added for weapons! I'm the weirdo that always carries my sword and master slingshot out of convenience, so being able to lock spots for those would be incredible. Thank you for creating this mod! :)
You can set any tool or weapon to any of your inventory slots like slot 1, 22, etc yes. If you mean non tool/weapon items like crops or furniture for example, then no. With the way I've set things up adding settings for all sorts of non tools would make the settings a bit unwieldy. I might look into a way to create a ui to pick items for each slots but for now I'm trying to keep this mod pretty simple.
