Also, if your bug report includes SVE, it will be marked at Not A Bug solely because it's not a "bug" with my mod - it's not my main priority to address overlaps with a mod I don't use, so these fixes will come at a later date.
Will she ever be dateable?
Currently she is not, and there is no plans to make her as such. However, there is some planned romance on the horizon... just maybe not with the farmer.
Is she friends with any of the Pelican Town folks?
Yes! She's friends with Maru, Sebastian, Sam and Haley. Currently, on some Thursdays, she goes to have dinner at Haley's house. She also has dialogue with fun facts about the four of them.

Utilizing Extra Machine Configs, you can make Soju! To make Flavored Soju, put Unmilled Rice in the keg and have any fruit in your inventory. To make regular Soju, just put in Unmilled Rice with no fruit in your inventory.
Can I translate her?
Yes! Just ask me first. Since Lani uses a lot of slang that may not translate properly, I have a translator's guide I'll share with you once you get my permission :)
Can I draw her?
Yes! Please! I'd be honored. Feel free to make portrait or sprite mods in whatever human-made style, just link back to my mod! I am politely requesting NO AI CONTENT of her portraits or dialogue. If you do it, I will report it.
And since this is the internet, if you want to add/edit compat for an adult mod, I don't mind (nor can I stop you, really). Just link back to my mod and have DP off, especially since it'll most likely be edits of the original sprites/portraits!
Can I post edits to your mod?
No. Especially since I'm (obviously) an active mod author. If there's a conflict with something, just let me know, and I'll add a patch for it in the next update!
I received a letter from Lani asking me to bring 5 quality fertilizer. I try to give them to her (the right fertilizer is the orange box?), but she only accepts one as a gift. There is nowhere to put them in her house. What am I doing wrong?

do debug removequest atelier99.SBV.NPCLani_FertilizerQuest in your smapi console, and then do debug quest atelier99.SBV.NPCLani_FertilizerQuest to get it back!
Lani is so adorable! It's a shame she's not a romance character.... It's said that she will be able to romance others in the future, but will it be a Rival Hearts event, which is a romance event with an existing unmarried character? I'd love to see her romance event, but if it's a Rival Hearts event, there's a chance I won't be able to see it...Rani, the farmer will take care of you T.T)~
Is this a Rival Hearts event for a character who hasn't appeared in Sunberries yet? I thought Jonghyuk had a Rival Hearts event with Lani, but a character who hasn't appeared yet? who hasn't appeared yet I'm so excited! And this character is so adorable. I'm a little disappointed about the 10 event, but I still love every single line. I'm rooting for your plans!!

As for the 10H, I figured she had no more story to tell with words, and she simply showed her growth by finally drawing in her sketchbook of her own volition without worrying about if she'd be good at it or not. It was a simple conclusion to her arc that I felt was fitting.
Lani’s special orders are seasonal! Her Soju one in particular occurs during Spring, since that is when you can grow unmilled rice. Due to how the SO board is unlocked, you will encounter this order in Y2.
The Cornucopia mod Special Order requires you to grow Cabbage, which is another seasonal crop. That SO will appear in whatever season Cabbage is grown in.

ideally it's supposed to be the [NPC] Lani folder with the [CC] and [CP] packs in it. my zip is named that but i forget i have to zip NOT just the folder, but the folder of the folder... ..... ugh.
for now, just (unfortunately) make a folder with [NPC] Lani and throw everything in there
Hello, author, I want to report a very small thing: after the update, my smapi will still show that I have not updated to the latest version, but I am sure that I installed it successfully.
Yes, I downloaded the new version after deleting the previous file. This time I saw a folder in the compressed package, which was a cat named Sammy. After I put these two folders into the mod folder, I opened the game and the following prompt appeared (I'm sorry I won't make a log link like them, I can only copy what appears here for you): [SMAPI] lanicc-Sammy 1.1.0: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/32689 (you have 1.0.0). I feel that there is something wrong with this cat's file, or that I installed it in the wrong way?
atelier99, yep same issue. In the [CC] Sammy/manifest.json file you have the Version as 1.0.0, it needs to be 1.1.0 as well.
You also need to add the CustomCompanions mod as a requirement for the Nexus page as otherwise it won't load for people if they don't have it. (Smapi will still warn them and say it's missing however) :)
@spartareborn CC is required for Sunberry Village, so you should already have it installed anyways. In my modpage I do list that Lani requires ALL that Sunberry uses, so...
Fair, makes sense then. Could always do the restriction as a "discovery" aide in case people look at what requires custom companions to find new mods but thats up to you ofc.
I hate that SV NPCs modders make the most cute, charming and/or interesting characters know and then say "Nah, she will not be romanceable". Feels like the gods giving you a sip of ambrosia and then sending you back home
I personally think that's what makes them interesting, maybe dateable but not marriageable would be the best compromise since from what I can tell, marriage is a very finnicky thing to mess with- so unless the modders really throw everything and commit to it, marriage will, more or less, actually downgrade a huge chunk of an NPC's personality and development since schedules will be hard restricted

right now it's set as
[CC] Sammy
[CP] Custom NPC Lani
my suggestion would be:
[CP] Custom NPC Lani
+-[CC] Sammy
+-[CP] Lani
that way, it will only take 1 space in the mods folder and will be easier to track and extract with new version releases
