Hello, just wanted to report a minor issue with one of Part 1's sections - there's no collision in one patch of scenery:

Also one suggestion, maybe you could recolor the swirls to something more distinct, like light purple? I know they glow, but I still found them kind of easy to miss at first. Thanks in advance.
Maybe not important but I get a small warning with this mod
[game] warper3 (0, 1) has unknown warp property 'ObeliskWarp DesertDry2 34 9', parsing with legacy logic. [Custom Companions] Unable to spawn companions on warper3, likely due to a bad map. See log for more details.
Thank you for bringing this up! It's a bug that I'm going to have to fix with the next update - but I promise it is a very small bug that shouldn't effect any part of your save or gameplay.
The first bug is a known one that pops up whenever that term "Obeliskwarp" is used. The magic sound effect and warp animation that happens when you click on the expansion statue technically uses the same sound effect and animation of the Obelisks. That warning is the game telling you "hey, I used the Obelisk sound effect but the player is being warped somewhere that's not where Obelisks usually go!" I'll be able to fix that just by changing the sound/warp effect to something else.
The second bug is a little more complicated to explain but also very benign. Custom Companions is warning you that it will not be able to load any companions/NPCs to "warper3," which is a map file in the Canyons that contains the statue used to warp to the canyon area. That's because the map doesn't have any "Back" tiles, so there's nowhere for an NPC to stand.
Basically, maps in stardew are built with the same sort of layer structure - for example, when you edit a map in Tiled, there is the "back" layer, with the floor, the "buildings" layer, with objects and walls the player can't walk through, etc. This is how objects and buildings are layered so that you can walk on the ground, but not through a building. The warp totem that appears next to the bus stop in this expansion is, technically, not an object, but a small bit of map that I have patched in. It was the easiest way to set conditions about when it would and would not appear... but because I wanted it to layer in as though it was an object, the map doesn't have anything in the "Back" layer.
When Custom Companions loads, it prepares to load NPCs and custom followers to follow you - but it needs to know where they can walk, even on custom maps. So the mod parsed through the Canyons and found the warp totem, and said "hey! This map doesn't have a floor, so custom companions won't be able to appear here!" Hence the "bad map." Luckily, the map is a 1x2 teeny tiny sheet that literally only contains that warp statue. No NPC was going to spawn or walk through it regardless.
And, regardless, it's an issue worth solving so no bugs appear at all!
When I did the first cutscene, I was warped to the canyons and able to reach the desert summit, but I could not collect any rainpuffs (there were none on the floor and I could not shakes the bushes). Additionally, swimming in the pond on the summit did nothing. Is there anything that could cause it/any way to fix it?
Were there no rainpuffs spawned at all, or just none on the bottom floor of the canyon? There is a way to warp up to the top layer following the lit spirals. That said, if none spawned at all - do you have FTM installed? And if so - wow, that's like a 1 in a million chance. The rainpuffs are set to appear randomly within certain x, y areas, with a min and max spawn amount set.
None at all everywhere i looked :( And yeah, I have FTM installed. I just exited the game and restarted the day, hopefully i will have better luck this time haha!
Update: Just tried it again, still can't find the puffs :c (but the swimming works now) Am I supposed to find them on the ground or on the bushes?
I was so excited for this mod... then the event happened and I kept accidentally hitting those spiral warp points until I got sucked into the ending part and couldn't go back. I saw essentially NONE of the features of this mod, just got fast tracked to the end. I'm so disappointed because I had done some really important stuff already that day so I was not about to reload my day to try again. Just going to uninstall and reinstall and hope for the best. I'd really strongly recommend putting some safeguard in place so this can't happen, plus a playable tutorial on warp points if you're not going to have them take you back to your starting point when you hit them again. The player should always have some sort of warning that they are about to trigger the end of an event or area that they can't return to, always, always, always, and an option to go back if they want to keep playing and have time on the clock for it.
I'm sorry that this happened to you, but I think you misunderstand this expansion at its core. To me, it sounds like the warp spirals worked as intended. The only goal in that portion of the expansion is to collect at least one Rainpuff. If you get back to Sandy's Shop with at least one Rainpuff in your inventory, then the expansion continues. If you warped all the way to the end without collecting even one Rainpuff, then you did not follow the basic instructions from the cutscene.
Curious if one person does the quest in multiplayer if it's unlocked at the completion state for all persons in a multiplayer file? Or does each person get to experience the quest on their own in a multiplayer file?
I will see what I can find out. It would be nice if it unlocked for each person individually so the story wasn't linked to the first person who unlocks it.
* The portal to the finalized area is already there and can access it at any hour. * There are no puffballs to collect for the second player * The new player can answer the riddles, but there is no chest in the final cave * There isn't the area in which you need to swim * There is no cutscene dialogue with Sandy/Wizard in the Oasis store after 9pm
So generally, if the first player completes the quest first, the subsequent players don't get to experience the expansion as intended.
Love this mod so far! I put a couple Rainpuffs in the Seedmaker, but I'm only getting Mixed seeds. Is that supposed to happen?
If not, could it be because of the Machine Progression System mod? I only have Iridium Seed makers. I just made a regular Seed Maker but I'm too scared to try another Rainpuff because I only have 5 left.
Hello! I suspect you're right, I've never played with Machine Progression System but looking at the page description, there's this bit:
What would need a compatibility patch would be those mods that add new rules to the Vanilla machines or new items that do not belong in a specific category. After the compatibility patch, you would be able to process their items with the MPS machines. If there is a mod you would like MPS to be compatible with, leave a comment with the link to its Nexus page.
It looks like I need to contact the author and get a compat patch added (luckily, their list of compat mods is huge, the author clearly goes above and beyond for the community).
In the meantime, it should work okay with a regular seedmaker!
Hi! I´m having a little trouble with this mod. I already collected rainpuffs and even I made seeds! But lookupanything is saying I never had this item in my inventory.. also I can't find where I planted the seeds <.< I wish I have another chance to get some rainpuffs again.
Thank you for your work <3 The flamingos are so lovely!
Thank you for this fun little expansion! Having an issue. The flamingo blocking the cave doesn't talk to me. Been through the area several times and got the riddles, but I can't get him to ask for the answer. Makes me feel like I am missing something, but I've covered every square inch of the area.
First of all, love you mod and thank you so much!!
This happening to me too... I've re-read your steps, but not sure if I'm missing anything or some sort of glitch with other mod. It would be awesome if you could look into it when you have a chance, thank you so much!
Updated! The issue should be fixed, and it allowed me add a couple more things to the map as well. Please download the update and let me know if the issue continues!

The warning is no longer there if I remove this mod alone

Sorry for my late reply, but the normal seed maker does work for me! Thank you for your reply <3
Please let me know if you don't see it!

By the way, I love your mod and your idea, I hope maybe when you have extra time to make another one like this, that would be thrill !
