Hi! I started a new game which includes this mod and your other anime portrait mods as well. Everything seemed fine for the NPCs and shopkeepers up until now but when I checked out the traveling cart and gil their photos are massive and blocking their inventories.
That's a really strange bug. I saw another person having the same problem but I don't find any error and I can't replicate it. Most likely is a SpaceCore problem but I don't know how to fix that. I'll upload another version with an option to work around this in a moment, in that one it should work correctly.
I just saw gil's, he is from vanilla seasonal, not this one but it's the same problem, spacecore scuff, and I don't know how to fix that as it seems to be something that doesn't happen to everyone. I'll upload new versions to try and work around that for now.
Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't gone far with this new save yet so I am unsure if any other traders are affected(RSV, Festivals). I am also trying some things on my end to see if there's something specific that went wrong with my install.

There's now an optional file here and in Vanilla seasonal with a work around. You'll need to download ScaleUp for those however, and you'll need to change a setting in configuration,this is only for traveler and Gil. I'm looking up why it's that this bug happens but I don't know how long it will take me to find a solution, for now this should work.
I managed to find something odd about the bug earlier btw. I disabled this mod and the original TDIT that it depended on thinking I could probably just continue with no merchant portraits. However after removing this mod and TDIT the issue has persisted. Maybe the issue isn't with this mod but it is with the other anime portrait mod that changes the wandering trader and gil's photo. I'll go ahead and check out the bug fix that you uploaded in the meantime, Thanks!
EDIT: Bugfix worked for the Wandering Trader! I assume it has also worked for Gil as well since I haven't seen him yet.

Oh god, it must be an SpaceCore error then. Just out of curiosity you downloaded it from Vortex? Just to check cause Vortex is known for creating some issues with the stuff it downloads. Also I don't know how useful this could be but maybe redownloading it could help? Either way I'll try to do a version that uses Scale Up for all of them in case this doesn't work
Ah yes I did use a ModLoader. Not Vortex, its the NexusMods beta app, I find it convenient. Haven't tried installing manually given that I'm running almost 100 mods.
Hey! I found out what's causing the issue. I just reinstalled everything manually this time without a modloader. I installed each mod one by one and have found the issue. It seems there might be some jank with the mod StardewHack(This mod is a dependency for one of my other installed mods[Bigger Backpack]).

I am unsure as to why this one dependency mod causes this bug but I guess I can go without it(and bigger backpack) lmao Checked with all Traders and can confirm they all work now even without further bugfixing so this seems to be the root of the issue.
HI, i love all your portrait mods, but for some reason this one isnt working for some of the NPC's.. specifically the mice. I can snag a smapi log as soon as the day ends so i can save and exit, but just wanted to know if there is something more i can do to get them to start showing.
That's strange... I would need to look at the log to know for certain but it may very well be because another mod targets the one I change. They problem is that no portrait appears at all or that it doesn't change the portrait?
That it doesnt change to your portraits even after pressing "P" to display the alternates. I have a log but i dont see the same errors I saw, in the log, unless I missed it. You will also see other errors, which I dont think is related, but here is the log My SMAPI log
I see you're using Mouse friends in the forest not Hat mouse and friends, this mod only covers the ones that TDIT covers, meaning that it only works for vendors, not the actual NPCs. I may do Mouse friends in the forest in the future but rn it doesn't change cause of that

It's always nice to see new portraits in your style that can add to my playthrough. Thanks again !!!! The mice are adorable, I dont really use them but They ARE SOO CUTE
