Does this mod work with Horse Overhaul? They both seem to add a lot, and I didn't see anything about compatibility between those two on the description tab.
They work well together. This mod changes the visuals, while Horse Overhaul changes mostly mechanics; visually, I think it only adds the saddlebags. I don't remember having any problems running both mods on the same file.
For those wondering about 1.6... If you check Junimod's user files, there's new "Cuter Animal" mods that are improvements to the various animals in the game, but using 1.6 and its Content Patcher mechanics. Junimods might have their own reason for not pinning this information in their own comment, or they may just be busy, but if you want to save yourself time and get some cool replacements that are up to date and work perfectly with 1.6, check their latest files!
I have been looking at your mods for over a year and now I finally figured out how to use them! (Life got in between lol) In step 4 or step 5, could you specify that the config file is in the folder for the mod? I was looking in the wrong one and figured it could help future mod installers! Thank you for all your amazing work and art!!!!! I am so excited to use them
I'm new to modding and I'm using AdoptnSkin folder, but it doesn't seem like the saddles are an option with those. I've got the sprite I wanted to display but it doesn't seem to be adding the saddle. Am I missing something or is that accurate? I'm loving your mods, thank you for all the effort. ❤
the way i found works is by using the Generic Mod Config Menu. it allows you to configure any compatible mods in your stardew valley title screen. if you have both that mod and the horse mod installed, you'll be able to change which horse color you want after opening the game.

It's a great mod, but despite that I can't set it up. The horse's default skin should be prismaticwhite right? But when I enter the game only Vanilla appears. I can still change the color of the saddle. obs: ( the mod is in the right version and is not in conflict with another mod ).

When you use pony weight lose mod you cant you cant change your hores if you remove it, change then put it back it's fine and stays as the one it was changed to but when both are installed you cant change it(I use generic mod config menu to change stuff)
Will this mod ever be updated to support different colored horses for multiplayer? I love this mod and it would be great to be able to use it in multiplayer to differentiate horses. Thanks for all your great work! 💖
No, that is unfortunately outside of the scope of this mod, as this just makes a visual change to vanilla sprites. Sorry! But there is a Multiplayer Horse Reskin mod you can try out.
