I'm SO glad I wasn't the only one who sees the connections between the Gourmet and the Governor! I'm positive that ConcernedApe based the Governor off of the Gourmet. There are far too many similarities for there not to be a connection. You did a great job with this, too! He looks as horrifying as always lol but that's kinda his thing, so it works out perfectly.
But the real reason I wanted to comment is that I just finished releasing a mod that expands the Governors dialogue over a set number of years (AKA "with each consecutive Luau", since that's the only time he's there). Since my expansion bases him on the Gourmet, I directed people to download this mod, too, to enhance the experience. I hope that's alright and that it helps your mod to gain some extra notoriety, too! :)
