Without a log, I can't really give you a concrete reason. You might have another mod that is messing with the mushroom's context tags, or another mod messing with the Dehydrator that is overwriting mine.
Based on the mod page for Machine Progression System, I would think that it may be incompatible with this mod, as my mod adds to the rules for the vanilla Dehydrator's Dried Mushrooms output item, but I can't be entirely certain.
Thanks for this comment, have you asked the author of Machine Progression System for a compat patch? If not i can give it a go, i just dont want to have a duplicate request, i know they are working on an update to add compat for other things too, based on my previous questions to them.
Nice, i wonder if it plays good with Amanita Lover. Any chance of adding a config option, so if the mushroom option is not compatible with other mods, we can still use it for the truffle?
