About this mod

Lycanthropire's Porch Goose for Stardew Valley 1.6.
A goose with outfits for every occasion!

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Lycanthropire's mod (here) was dearly missed, so after they granted open permissions in the comments (here), I converted it for SDV 1.6. There's a CP version, that changes the goose's appearance automatically every day, and an AT version, where it needs to be done manually, choosing freely between the 113 versions of the original mod.

The CP version keeps the original price of the goose, 150, and is available at Robin's.

A word of warning about the AT version. First, it replaces the Junimo Plant that is in the Junimo Catalogue. That means it won't be available immediately, only after you've completed the Community Center or the Joja Route, then bought the catalogue from the Traveling Cart for a hefty sum (you can get as many as you want free of cost afterwards, though). This is because for Alternative Textures, you need two objects that are roughly the same size, and the goose has a bit of an unusual size: 2 wide and 2 tall, but with a collision box of only 1 vertically. There aren't that many furniture items in the normal furniture catalogue like this that I could find. There are plenty that are 2x2, but they either have a 2 tall collision box, can't be placed outside or inside, or cost significantly more at 10 000 a pop,  and in other cases, you can only get a max amount of 1 or 2  through events, or through mini-games like the crane game.

The second thing about the AT version is that if you put the goose on the porch and then try to convert it with the paint bucket, it will be very finicky and select the farmhouse instead most of the time. This is because of AT itself, which struggles when there are items beneath a texture, like rugs, paths, etc, and there's nothing that can be done about this on my end. Everywhere else is fine.

If you'd rather be able to get your goose immediately but still want the AT version, it's fine! Just change the object it retextures. Change the name of the Junimo Plant folder to the object of your choice, then in the texture.json inside, change the name to the object of your choice (this time, it has to be an exact match to the item name, so for the Junimo Plant for instance it's JunimoPlant, no space). Don't forget to modify the keywords for ease of use, too!
Objects that can be selected instead are those with a 2x2 size, like the oak table, oak tea table, walnut table, walnut tea table and the likes. They're cheap enough, at 750 a piece. Those objects have a 2x2 collision box though, so you won't be able to place the goose on the porch.

Anyway, this should cover the most important things about the AT version. Feel free to ask if there's a problem in the comments.

Again, this is only a conversion of Lycanthropire's mod, all the credit goes to them, and the assets are theirs.
A huge thanks also to jenf1, whose conversion (here) of GoblinHours's delightful 12 ft Skeleton (here) gave me the blueprint for this mod.

Included below is Lycanthropire's original description. There's more useful info on their mod's page, so give it a read and their deserved kudos.

Some of you may be familiar, but for those who are not, I present to you the wonderful tradition of the Porch Goose!
Some real-life folks keep 3-4ft. tall ceramic gooses on their porch. Why? For silly decoration of course!
They usually dress them up, either for holidays, certain seasons, or just daily!
Growing up, my neighbor's porch goose was the highlight of my day. (I lived a simple life, okay? Don't judge! ;P)

I wanted to bring this delightful bit of silliness into Stardew Valley, and share it with all of you!
So I give you Porch Goose! Complete with 112 different outfits, one for every single day of the year!
(Plus a "naked" sprite, for you to add your own outfits!)
