Some of you may be familiar, but for those who are not, I present to you the wonderful tradition of the Porch Goose!
Some real-life folks keep 3-4ft. tall ceramic gooses on their porch. Why? For silly decoration of course!
They usually dress them up, either for holidays, certain seasons, or just daily!
Growing up, my neighbor's porch goose was the highlight of my day. (I lived a simple life, okay? Don't judge! ;P)
I wanted to bring this delightful bit of silliness into Stardew Valley, and share it with all of you!
So I give you Porch Goose! Complete with 112 different outfits, one for every single day of the year!
(Plus a "naked" sprite, for you to add your own outfits!)
Installation is super easy! Just download, extract, and drop into your mod folder!
You'll need Dynamic Game Assets as well, since this mod uses that one to add the goose as a brand new piece of furniture!
After installation, you can find the Porch Goose for sale in Robin's Carpenter Shop for just 150g!
Should be compatible with pretty much everything, including existing saves.
Porch Goose's birthday outfits are based on Vanilla characters though, so they won't change if you use seasonal outfit mods. and he doesn't match up with Diverse Stardew Valley, sorry! But other than possible visual conflicts, he shouldn't outright break anything!
This is the first mod I've ever made, so if anything is broken, please let me know and I'll do my best to try to fix it!
Some of Porch Goose's outfits are useful, or meaningful! Some are just silly.
The usefullest bit is that, on the days that it's someone's birthday in game, Porch Goose will dress up like them to remind you to wish them a happy birthday!
So Fall 13, for example, Porch Goose is dressed up like Abigail!
He also has a little giftbox by his feet on those days, to help differentiate his birthday costumes from some of his other, more ambiguous costumes.

NOTE: I made this mod purely for my own enjoyment, and decided to share it with the community for fun.
If you do not like one or more of Porch Goose's outfits, either don't use my mod, or simply delete that image from the assets folder.
Any missing outfits should automatically fill in with Porch Goose's "naked" sprite.
Feel free to edit any of his existing outfits, add new ones using his "naked' sprite as a base, upload new outfit packs, add compatibility, etc.
He's just a silly little goose, so be as silly as you like, just no hate, 'kay?
