Hello, not sure if this is a hiccup with your mod of one of the portraiture mods but I'm post on all to try and figure this out.
Whenever I enter a cutscene with Morris his portraits kind of glitches out. His face is out of frame and all that can be seen is a vertically stretched out image of his outfit. Any idea what could have caused this? So far it has only happened with Morris.
Unfortunately that log doesn't show much, so I can't see what happens. If it's only Morris events then I can take a look, it's all Morri's events or only some?
Can't speak for Artrai. And I've only had 2 Morris events so far, but it did occur in both. It starts out normal for a few "lines" but after the dialog switches back to Morris that is when the glitch happens. I'm downloaded CBJ cheats to try and speed things up with trying to trigger another event so I can send a log.
Okay, I have a rough idea why this can happen, at least in Laren's case thanks to the log, I can see that Morris is accessing the Vanilla portraits when it should go for the SVE ones, as Morris only has heart events in SVE, unless you count the Community center being done as one of them. I've gone though Morris's events and I don't see it being stretched, but seeing that SVE has more expressions than Vanilla (10 compared to 4) that must be the case. This is probably because other mod is changing this, I don't know which one but it may be for certain but one may be Jello's portraits as Jello specifies to have only one of the two cause having both causes problems in game. If it's not that then I can't know for certain unless I try all the mods you have right now.
In my case, only happens with the 2 hearts event for Morris. I only use this potrait replacer and the Seasonal one for SVE. I'm going to re-download and reinstall to see if that fixes it.
EDIT: It works normally now. Maybe I got a corrupt file or something.
No, for Stardew Valley I always do manual download and installations, but my internet conexion is a bit bonky at times, so maybe it got botched durinn the download.
Superb stuff right here. Could die from joy just gazing upon that one delightfully squiggly portrait of Krobus. Skillfully capturing the sheer quantity of such elaborate characters across all your mods is remarkable. Creating a new save so I can enjoy them from the start, thanks for sharing with all of us! Excited to see what you create next, but hope you're able to have time to enjoy the game, and your own hard work, too!
It's always uplifting seeing people liking my mods! I haven't played so much lately but that's just cause I just can't stop doing portraits, I love to draw and this allows me to show them to people so I just end up doing one after another. I may do another save later on though, as I have some mods I want to try!
Hi, how are you? I just wanted to ask if you plan to migrate the pending features from 'Portraiture' and 'PortraiturePlus' to SpaceCore. I really like your mods, but I noticed that some require SpaceCore while others still depend on Portraiture and PortraiturePlus.
Oh that, Spacecore is needed on mods that have Vendors as Portraiture doesn't seem to detect mine cause I code them so I use that to make them work. As Portraiture works in every other case I have no plans to migrate them right now.

I used this mod with Smapi Android, I can't press "P" because I'm in a mobile not a PC. Can you help me so the portrait can change? Because it's showing up, while other mods works just fine on Android. Thank you!
I can't really help with that as that's Portraiture stuff, not specific of my mod so you'll need to go to Portraiture and check if there's an option there
Letting you know when I extracted the file it said something about PAM Beach failed CRC or something like that. EDIT: It changes everytime I extract it. The image below says Haley. The 3rd time I extracted it says Marnie_Aerobics.
Looked it online as that seemed an error of the extracting software and it seems to be due to an error while downloading the file so nothing I can do about it from my end

Festival outfits are on. Since my initial post, I closed the game and launched it again, so I'm not sure if the latest log will have what you need, but here
Yeah, that log doesn't have what I'm looking for unfotunately. I can't seem able to find anything wrong either as they show their costume portraits in my save files. If you reach another festival and this still happens let me know, as they are coded the same so it should show me what happens!
This is really weird, I was able to replicate this error now. For some reason it works when I use RSV but not when I use it without it... It's really strange but oh well, I'm looking what could be the reason for that
Found the error! I have no idea why it worked when I had RSV installed but it works now. Tested it in Ice Festival, WinterStar and spirit's Eve and it works (The code for some reason couldn't detect when a Festival was happening now it does). The wandering merchant portrait was normal for me so I don't know that, it uses Space Core so it could be some kind of error caused by it. Anyway I'm uploading a fix now!

The only thing I can somewhat see is that for some reason your log shows only 2 instances of SpaceCore changing textures meanwhile mine shows three instances, so maybe there's something messing with SpaceCore so it doesn't do the final instance where the texture gets resized to match the original sprite, in that case I can't do much. I can upload a optional SVE file that uses Scale Up instead of SpaceCore, cause I think that should do the trick.
Ehh, I'd rather just deal with it than re-introduce the FPS drop from scale up, I can still use the shop, just need the tooltip popup to see what I'm buying, plus, I don't use the wandering merchant all that much
It's really severe the FPS dip in your end? I've seen some people having it, I also suffered a bit myself in winter when it snows. If you could tell me how bat it is, theres a mod to see the FPS, and season I'll look something up, maybe combining Portraiture for portraits and Scale up for anything Portraiture doesn't cover.
It's sort of inconsistent, it'll dip down into the mid 40's randomly, usually on my farm, sometimes on other maps. So far, I've been in Summer while its been happening, but then there will be other times I'm on my farm and it's fine.
I see. It usually happens to me too in the farm mostly, usually while having a lot of stuff around like grass. I think I'll revert to HDP by portraiture then, cause the more I make the more lag it will add. I just found Portraiture Plus too so I think I'll see how much I can go with those and for specific stuff I'll add Scale Up.
Also, unrelated, but I just got to the moonlight jellies festival, and all the romantic interest NPCs portraits were broken, they looked like they were zoomed into the upper left blank corner of their portrait
Ah yeah, Scale up scuff. It must've been something missing in the json. I'm currently changing it back to portraiture so that shouldn't happen anymore!
So, how would I go about updating to the new version? Just delete scale up and install portraiture and the new version of this mod? and same for the SVE one?
New version works, but I wasn't sure which version of the SVE version to download, and when I use portraiture to load HDP, they don't change, which version of the SVE mod should I use? To clarify, the SVE portraits don't change, vanilla works fine. The one I downloaded was the third optional file
Ahh, so I misunderstood how Portraiture worked, didn't know I needed to put the SVE mod file in its own file. The problem I have now is, Portraiture sees this mod and the SVE mod as two separate sets of portraits, I can only have one active. Is there a way to merge them that I'm missing?

Not sure if this will be helpful. I only managed to trigger 1 event and the glitch was there though a bit more intermitant than the previous 2 times
