This is the second version of my first little Stardew mapping project!
I'd been toying with the idea of an underground farm for a while, and while my first attempt was "okay" (see my other mod in my profile to see what I mean), I was overall disappointed with the end result, there were issues and the layout wasn't great.

I wanted to create something that was unique, with it's own kind of playstyle to breathe a bit of life into the game for me again.
So that's where this map comes in!


Features

  • The Cave farm is hot and humid, and supports a wide variety of crops! (It acts like a greenhouse)
  • The Cave farm is quite dark, while not quite enough to be unbearable, it's still enough that you'll want to craft light sources eventually so you can see better.
  • To offset the massive boost that an early greenhouse gives you there is also a lack of tillable land, you're heavily restricted in the area you can plant your crops in.
  • Trees can grow anywhere in the cave and you start with a single mushroom tree.
  • The Elevator takes you to the surface, where you have a small forested crossroads. (Turn this off in the config if you're not using the map!!)

Planned Features

  • A custom "Inverted" farm cave with access to sunlight and more tillable land, at the cost of normal seasonal growth
