    Hi, would you be updating this mod. It's no longer compatible with newest update.

      No problem, its not hard to edit the files to do what you did. Am mostly asking for others that don't know. Also take your time with getting back to stardew, everyone needs a break every now and then.

      Here you go since I already did the work. nothings changed form what Explodingturtles12345 did and it has the newer things added in the newest update.

      Am guessing you know what to do from here.

      Thanks for this comment and for the fix you've provided! I spent several days on a bug report to CFDE thats turned out to be this mod.

      explodingturtles- We would appreciate if you updated this to be a full CP mod with a manifest to avoid these kinds of errors in the future.

    Hi, I love this mod/fix to CFDE mod, used to play SVE with this mod turned off since there were a few contradiction there.

    However, there's still a few thing that needed a fix in Pierre's json file, under "generic weekday dialogue" on summer_Tue. Pierre mentions the price on jojamart is higher compared to his, I don't think is true anymore in SVE.

    It's a small thing but bugs me a little, lol. And as always, thanks for this mod

      First, you need to download the latest version of the original Canon Friendly Dialogue Expansion and unzip it into your Mods folder. That one is a mod with a manifest, so it's always good to go. Second, decide if you are always going to play with SVE. If you sometimes play with it and sometimes without, I recommend making a backup of the original Canon Friendly Dialogue Expansion, just as you downloaded it. Put the two in two separate folders so there's no technical issue. Remove the one you're not gonna use for the current save out of the Mods folder so there aren't two mods doing the same thing. Then, in the one that you're gonna use for SVE, do the following:

      Download this Canon Friendly Dialogue Expansion, then unzip it. It has several subfolders in it, for ease of understanding I recommend going up to the Data folder. Once you're there, extract it into your Canon Friendly Dialogue Expansion folder (the one you've reserved for SVE). It will notify you there are already files with the same names, and ask if you want to replace them. In total, it must do so 3 times, because it's replacing 3 files: the Sebastian json, the Robin json, and the Fest_True json.

      All done.

    Good to see this types of mods! what lines of dialogue does it modify?
    1. Removes the lines that refer to seb's father from CFDE since SVE has its own backstory for that and removed lines about the fall festival maze since they only refer to the vanilla one, which would not fit as it changes yearly in SVE
