Is there a way to make this compatible with custom sprites? They glitch out and switch between base game and my custom ones TT TT I still use it though cuz it's soooooo cute <3

"Tread carefully" is a common phrase used to tell someone to be cautious in a sensitive or risky situation. In this context, the Wizard uses "tread" metaphorically, not literally—basically telling the Farmer to browse the merchant's wares as if treading through a minefield.
An example of another sentence using "tread carefully": "The boss is in a bad mood today, so you should tread carefully when discussing your request for a raise."
i love this!! it adds so much more life to the game imo. i was wondering if we can make some of the events optional though? especially if scenes replace vanilla scenes. i hope you consider it! nonetheless this mod is amazing already <3
So, I dont know if its a conflict between this and Bigger Backpacks, but some Events need 3500 Free Inventory slots... (according to Event lookup) which cant be right, SMAPI log is no help as its either empty or has a feedback loop of my system components followed by missing ingridient gold
God, this is such a good mod. My game is modded to hell and back (1000+.... ahahahahaha......) and I have yet. To see a single conflict??? That is f*#@ing amazing & also incredible & also the best. My hat's off to you sir (gender neutral)
I'm curious about the cutscene with Pierre in Cindersap Forest. In vanilla nobody except him really acknowledges the Traveling Cart, it almost feels like only the farmer can see it (because it's magic yk). So I wonder how you wrote this.
The traveling cart is canonically a smuggler operation, from the Gotoro empire which the local state is currently at war with. I'm guessing nobody acknowledges it because discussing illegal activity out loud in public is stupid :3
There’s no official lore about the Traveling Cart in the vanilla game (at least nothing noted on the wiki). As for the smuggling operations, that seems to be part of SVE lore, which I’m not using.
Since no one had brought up the cart, I included this scene purely to introduce it—nothing more. In my canon, it’s just a regular cart. If it were a magical cart that only the player could see, wouldn’t that mean it has only one customer in the entire town? Poor shop...
Smuggling is canon, I think. In vanilla game, one of the traveling merchant's lines(when you buy/sell anything) mentions that(the items sold at cart are expensive because they are smuggled from Gotoro).
