   Will anyone continue this mod? Pretty please? As well as take into account the auto petter (basically still display the heart despite the auto petter)

   This mod is still currently incompatible with 1.5 and latest SMAPI updates. There is a similar mod available "Daily pet the animals" that does work for the time being.

   Hi! It works for all the other animals but my cat still shows the petting sign. I've tried petting it and filling its water bowl but the petting marker won't go away :(
   
   I really love this mod though! It's a life saver.

      Unfortunately, the author of the mod has not logged in in almost three months. It's very unlikely this mod will be updated further.

      looking at stardew valley's wiki (it has a page which lists compatibility for each mod), the optional download is actually the updated version to 1.4

      There are two optional files listed. Which is the one that is working for people? I chose the most recent of the two, and am off to check it out.
      
      Edit: I tried both of the optional files and SMAPI reports them as being skipped and incompatible.

      edit: I said that because of what was written in the wiki (there's a page listing mod compatibilities), but I guess the page wasn't updated recently

   Hi, sorry to bother, but with the new update of Sardew this mod doesn't work anymore ( at least to me ). Is there any possibility that you will update the mod, please?

      The mod has been updated for compatibility with the latest version of SMAPI as of today (2.11.2).
      It works with Stardew Valley 1.3.36 and is ready for SMAPI 3.0.
      Some code has been written for it to work with Stardew Valley 1.4, but there is still a chance that it will break then as I can't test it until version 1.4 is released.
