Even though today was an update, there is still an inscription: - CustomWallsAndFloorsRedux 2.1.7 because it's no longer compatible. Please check for a new version at https://smapi.io/mods
The creator is updating other mods, the last one being last month, so I think this one is definitely abandoned. I'm gonna see if maybe somebody has an unofficial update, or maybe request one.
Yeah I'm having the same issue. Sometime times walls will apply and sometimes they won't. I tried a few different things so I could see if I could figure out why it worked when it worked. I think I maybe sort of figured it out. It seems like when you load up the game you have one shot at each wallpaper. Some still won't apply but for me most have.
If you changed your mind and want to apply a wallpaper a second time you'll have to exit to the main menu and reload. I do this in the mornings so if I have to reload I won't miss anything.
Okay, maybe I'm doing something wrong here? When I place a custom wall or floor, I cannot change it to one that is outside of CWF, such as Hojichas' CP walls and floors, or anything in the vanilla realm. Is the error sitting at the keyboard, or is anyone else having this problem?
Not just you. I've found that many CWF wallpapers/floors won't take, either, only a select few will actually go up. I keep slapping them up and nothing happens, save for the flooring/wallpaper being used without being applied. Not sure what's going on.
I am also having this issue!! I want to uninstall this mod, because it makes a black bar appear on the wall under all custom wallapapers. but because i cannot make my wallpapers vanilla first, i am scared if i delete the mod it will crash my game! (sadly i saved my game with a custom wallpaper on a wall, to see if that would fix the bar.)

i know it's too late but could you share the link to the bandaid version of the custom furniture??
