I created the pufferchick as a joke on 11 February 2017 (and it became the SMAPI mascot a few months later). With this mod, you'll see pufferchick slimes on winter 11th.
Curious, how does this affect different colored slimes? Like say if I have different colored slimes in a slime hutch and they all turn into pumpkin slimes.
When they're pumpkin slimes and pufferchick slimes, the tint is removed from them. You won't see different colored pumpkins, sadly. I can make that an option though.

Yeah, Json Assets and this mod hilariously enough conflict. I can update this mod to use index 1999 instead of 2000. I though 2000 would be out of range of Json Assets, but it's actually the first index it uses x_x
oh man, this is great! could there be future instalments for the other three seasons? like slimes with flowers/petals in them for spring or chilly ice ones for winter or ones with 'trapped' butterflies for summer?

my concerns are the waiving of legal artistic ownership in the case of commercial usage of my uploads by discord. for sure though new users cannot opt-out on the waiver of rights to have disputes seen in court only existing ones and only for now so that certainly does not help
I think it'd be easier if I made a mod that let you remove tinting from certain regions of certain textures, then you could make your own CP mod that replaces slimes during whatever season you wanted.
