If you have SMAPI, it should be as simple as any other mod--press download, open the file, then look up in the File Explorer ribon where it says "Extract All", and extract it to your Stardew Valley Mods folder (should have a pathway that looks something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods").

What an interesting mod! I haven't even finish exploring all the vanilla available farm maps, but this is definitely something to look forward to once I finish.
I love this too! Haven't got MTN working but could put this as the wilderness map and this really gives variety! (only the monsters on works at the moment, unfortunately, but that I can live with).
It finally occurred to me to try the "monsters on" map, and it works. Monsters were showing up for me in the "off" version anyway -- so if you want to try the map (which is fun) and don't mind the monsters, try the "monsters on" version.
I'm really enjoying this map. There's something that I think would make it more challenging that I think would be cool: blocking the north and south entrances with boulders or stumps. I've been running through the lake and forest areas to get to the top and bottom of my farm. So they're accessible, just kind of annoying to get to. I think it'd be great if they weren't accessible at all at first.
Monsters are also spawning for me with ProFarm 1.2 Monsters Off. I don't mind, but still, heads up there.
I love the idea of this! I've played through Stardew so many times, I'm always looking for new challenges to make it tougher so I'm excited! However, I'm currently running SMAPI 2.7 which says Pro Farm is incompatible. Should I be using SMAPI 2.8 beta?

I absolutely will! I suppose I should finish up my wilderness run-through and download this to try it out! I've been looking for a reason to start a new game and this is it! :)
I don't have any serious changes in mind, I'm just really picky. I'm thinking I'll edit the farm cave entrance to use the mine entrance door and blend the dirt entrance into the grass a bit more (if you haven't changed that in 1.0.1). I'd also like to change some of the wood bridges into the stone bridges from town. Specifically those going left and right, not up and down. I'm still having trouble opening the map in tIDE. I keep receiving the error message that tIDE can't find the paths.png. Did you edit it in some way? Or did you maybe use a pre-multiplayer paths.png?
So, I've since downloaded it, and I love it! I love the challenge of only being able to reach my farm from the town entrance, and I enjoy how it makes your piorities different for the first few weeks. Thank you for getting those updates out quickly, too. <3

I don't have much time to change the code now, so I will instead recommend using 2.8's beta :P
