This mod displays NPC names, indicates when to give gifts or speak to them, and marks their birthdays. Plus, it shows the last gift given, color-coded by preference (loved, liked, hated). Never forget to speak to an NPC or what you should give them again.

NPCInfo Mod for Stardew Valley
Overview:
This mod adds essential information about NPCs directly to your gameplay, making it easier to interact with your favorite characters. If you find it challenging to keep track of all the nuances of each NPC, this mod takes the burden off your shoulders, allowing you to focus on enjoying the game without the hassle of remembering every detail.
Features:
- NPC Name Display: View the name of each NPC at the top of their dialogue box for quick identification.
- Gift/Speak Icons:
- An icon will indicate when you should give a gift to the NPC.
- An icon will prompt you to speak to the NPC.
- A special icon will mark the NPC's birthday.
- Last Gift Tracking: Keep track of the last gift you gave each NPC, with color coding to indicate if it was:
- Loved
- Liked
- Neutral
- Disliked
- Hated
Note: Only gifts given since the mod is installed will be displayed. Gifts given prior to installation cannot be tracked.
- Configurable: Configure what you want to display using Generic Mod Config Menu
Installation:
1. Ensure you have SMAPI installed.
2. Download the NPCInfo mod from the releases page.
3. Extract the contents of the zip file into your Mods folder in your Stardew Valley installation directory.
4. Launch the game through SMAPI.
Compatibility:
- This mod is compatible with Stardew Valley version 1.6 and higher.
- Make sure you have the latest version of SMAPI for the best experience.
