The range is a bit small, and very few trees will be very dense together

Would you ever consider making a 1.5 version? I'd really love to play this mod.

That's interesting... Why do you prefer playing on the old version? I'll give it a try, but not right away.

It’s because most of the mods I have aren’t updated for 1.6. I have over 400 mods installed xD but I know 1.6 made modding easier so it is fine if you can’t do it! No pressure at all :3

Would you consider adding a similar mechanic to the pickax, looking for a mod to replace chargeable Resource Tools mod, this is looking like it.

Btw I wanted to thank you for the No More Lag mod, worked great while it lasted.

I'm using the default axe and holding the button shows a blue diamond around me but only the tree I'm aiming for is affected. Is it supposed to also cut wood debris or smaller tree? I haven,t touched the config setting yet

That's strange. Also, yes, if you haven't touched the config, it should cut all small trees within the radius. I just had a couple of questions, if you don't mind:

      • Have you updated the mod to the latest version?
      • Are you using a controller or mouse?
      • Have you checked the UI options yet? Try enabling all the available options to chop all kind of trees.

Edit: I just tested the mod using a basic axe with a mouse, along with the Prismatic Tools Continued mod and over 180+ other mods, and it still worked perfectly for me. If the issue persists, perhaps you have a similar mod that modifies axe or farming tool mechanics?

      • Have you updated the mod to the latest version? Testing was done before updating  to 1.0.2

      • Are you using a controller or mouse? Controller

      • Have you checked the UI options yet? Try enabling all the available options to chop all kind of trees. I already did. It's the default config options

Thanks for the input! Try updating to the latest version first (as this version improves the logic and the code).

Just for your information, for the mod to work with a controller, you need to hold two buttons at the same time.

Specifically, you need to hold Button A to chop (this is the default button, but if you've changed it, that might be why the mod isn't working) and Button X to show the highlight. You need to hold both buttons together for the mod to work (which I know can be a bit tiring for controller users).

However, if the issue still persists, there's a good chance it's conflicting with other mods that modify farming tool mechanics.

Is it compatible with prismatic tool?

If you're referring to the mod 'Prismatic Tools Continued,' yes, I just tested it, and it's fully compatible. The area chopping works perfectly with the Prismatic Axe.

I feel like it should waste a little more energy if you cut down multiple trees, just for balance sake. :)

Thanks for the reminder! I've been aware of this issue since the mod's release, but it should be fixed in the latest patch by now.
