hi there, since this mod requires you to at least complete the greenhouse bundle to be able to make new greenhouses, i wonder if anyone can teach me to disable that, as in i can build the green house as soon as i start
Hey there! An easy fix for this would be to open up the mod folder, go to the manifest.json file, and open it with Notepad or another text file editor. change the number in "Version": to "1.0.2" and that should fix it.
Sorry, to fix it otherwise would mean uploading the entire file again and making everyone redownload it again, which is a hassle. Effectively, you are on the 1.0.2 version, I just forgot to update the version info when I uploaded the mod.
So, I am trying this mod on my oldest game (from way, way, way back in the olden days lol) It's the only game I have even unlocked the greenhouse, but that was a long time ago. In any case, it was already unlocked, and I can't see Robin selling them. Is it because they were already unlocked, or am I missing something? I was trying to test this because I wanted more greenhouse space for my family multiplayer game, so when we finally unlock it, we'll all have a little space.
Love the huge greenhouses, but maybe make these upgrades to the existing greenhouse instead of separate buildings? This would prevent them from being quite so OP.
Question: I just had a giant cauliflower disappear completely from the ludi greenhouse. Not sure if it was due to a lightning strike (can lightning strike inside?) or due to the change of season from spring to summer. Any idea why this might have happened?
I have no idea why the large cauliflower disappeared. It shouldn't have been the lightning, lightning can't strike indoors, but it may have been the season change. I've never left giant crops sitting over from season to season, so it never crossed my mind as something to test for. It also isn't something I'd be able to fix, as it would require C# programming skills to make the necessary edits to the base game, instead of having Content Patcher tell the game that this area is allowed to have Giant Crops in it.
The whole point of giant crops is that they don't disappear at the change of season. Since the giant crops don't last past the change of season in these greenhouses, maybe turn that option off or at add a config option to disable giant crop growth?
I'll do some testing on my end to see if I can get them to disappear. I always harvest my giant crops as soon as I get them, so I never realized they persist through seasons.
So, bad news, giant crops are persisting in my Ludeonicrous-sized greenhouse from season to season when I tested it. Are you using the latest version of Content Patcher and SMAPI? I updated mine to the most recent to test this, and am not seeing these issues. Sometimes, updating the dependencies can help fix problems like these.
I just tested again. Something is definitely wrong somewhere. I planted a bunch of the four crops that produce giants on Winter 2, Year 5. By Winter 18, I had four giant crops. I harvested the non-giant extra crops and took a screenshot. Everything was fine when I closed the game last night. This morning, I fired the game up and checked the greenhouse. All giant crops are gone. I suspect the problem may be related to stoping the game and restarting. Maybe SDV does a check for 'illegal' giant crops and removes them during startup or shutdown? Here is a link to the SMAPI log from this morning. SMAPI LOG
I tested that on my end, and you're right, giant crops are not persisting through a quit and load cycle. I don't know what's going on. I took it to the big brains over at the Stardew Valley modding discord, and the general consensus there was that something changed on the back-end side of TerrainFeature calls in the game code and isn't something that a mere Content Patcher mod can fix, and that this was also a problem back in 1.5 (and the C# mods that fixed it are, sadly, no longer functional). I think that you're right, and it likely has something to do with the checks the game makes upon loading a saved file, and those are out of my hands to be able to change.
I am sorry that I cannot help you. The only advice I can offer is to make sure all giant crops are harvested before quitting the game. Alternatively, if you're like me and hate giant crops in general, I highly recommend the Configurable Giant Crops mod. It allows you to custom set how often you'd like to see giant crops appear, and it does work inside of the greenhouses.
The current update is the latest one, I just forgot to change it in the manifest.json when I uploaded. To get rid of the SMAPI notices, you can go into the manifest.json and change the 1.0.0 to 1.0.2 and it'll stop sending you notices about it.
Hello, this mod looks great, but might I suggest adding in the build cost of each greenhouse type in the mod description? It would be nice to know what to expect for each greenhouse prior to unlock the base one. Thanks in advanced
I do not have AT support for this mod, since it is supposed to use original game assets for the exterior appearance. If you mean changing how it looks on the inside, each of the 4 greenhouses has a different interior size, and you need to build the size you want.
Hi there! Don't know if I'm doing something wrong but in my multiplayer game as host I can't see robin selling the greenhouses but my friend can see them and buy them. Right now our idea is to just have them buy it for me but hoping you might have an idea.
Did you ever figure anything out? They arent appearing for me either, but I am playing solo and I'm wondering if its linked to needing to unlock the normal greenhouse first?
Hi there! Sorry this is a bit of a late response, I didn't have my computer for a bit. I am not sure how it works in Multiplayer since I always do single player, but it should unlock for everyone once the Greenhouse is unlocked via Community Center or Jojamart. Can you check your configs via GMCM and make sure that the enables for them to show up in Robin's shop are set to True instead of False?
Not the original poster, just checking I understand, the buildable options that I have enabled via GMCM will show up after the vanilla game greenhouse is repaired?
Try going into the manifest.json in Notepad++ and see if changing "Version": "1.0.0" to "Version": "1.0.2" fixes that. I, uh... miiiiight have forgotten that that needed to be done when I updated the mod... >.>

Hope that helps; let me know if you have any questions!

我不支持这个模组,因为它的外观应该使用原始游戏资源。如果你的意思是改变它的内部外观,4 个温室中的每一个都有不同的内部尺寸,你需要建造你想要的尺寸。

For some reason smapi keeps saying Im using the 1.0.0 version when I just installed the 1.0.2. I wonder why?
