Thank you for reminding me that I have yet to add a link to the AT version, which is a separate mod page. Here it is, click here. It's in two separate files for some reasons I forgot, so get both of them (I'll check if I can fix it when I have the time), it has all the colors and textures of the CP version, but it -does not- have the vines, flowers, and winter overlays, and the Hedges -do not- have the seasonal variants. Thanks for checking out my mod!
Hi! i love this mod so far. However, i can't seem to figure out how to get the vines on my fences. no matter what settings i turn on nothing happens.. Does anyone know what i need to put in to get it to show up? xx
Hello! I believe that my mod isn't being read because you have another fence recolor active that overwrites it, as the fence in the screenshot is different than the one I use in my mod, that's why none of the options are working. I suggest you double check your mods folder for either another Content Patcher recolor mod that is alphabetically after mine (aka a folder that is below my mod/after it) and check if it has fences settings, or for an Alternative Textures recolor, as those usually overwrite Content Patcher mods like mine.
Thank you for your reply! I checked my other mods and you’re right, i had another mod that overwrote you mod. I fixed it and now it works perfectly! Xx
I have retxtures for these already. :( But I would love to have this in my game. Is there any way to make these additions to the game without overwriting textures? Or would that be a bunch of extra work?
Each texture can be individually turned on and off, just find the ones you want to disable and set it to "false" and they won't overwrite. :) Alternatively you can check the optional files and only use the feature you prefer (for es. only the vines and flowers decor, or only the hedges, etc) :D
hello! this mod has the best hedge options so i'm planning on using them for my fence5, however I already have a fence for wood or fence1 and would like to disable it, can you help me with which part i should edit to disable any changes to fence1? (sorry for my bad english)
If you use the all in one file, just find the "fence1" option and set it to False. You can disable all retextures individually in this way and only keep the ones you want. :) Alternatively, if you only like the hedge, there's an hedge only version in the option files that won't change any other textures, only the selected fence, be it vanilla or another recolor. :D
hi, just installed this! i love the options it grants, but my assumption was that selecting 'false' would revert the item to its original texture/colour, but it doesn't seem to be working like that for me! would love any help x
hello! Some 'false' options only affect extra decor (like flowers and vines on fences and gates) or are special like the hedge option (set to 'false' return the fence it was on to the modded version, so you need to set that to 'false' as well to see the original game fence).
Could you please specify which option(s) doesn't seem to work, so I can better help you?
thanks for replying! i was trying to use the stepping stone path and couldn't find a mid-tone colour that i liked with my farm, and the 'false' option just seemed to be the same colour as another! i like the mod so don't want to remove it but i like the original stepping stone path colour and i hope there's a way of having both!
The Stepping Stone Path 'false' setting works as intended. This flooring and the Cobblestone Path flooring shares the same color palette in the vanilla game, perhaps the latter was also set to 'false' and that's what you mean with "same color as another?" Everything works as intended, so unless you have another mod that modifies the flooring (some general recolor mods do include flooring and fences even when they are not the focus of it like mine) that overrides the vanilla colors when mine is set to 'false', there's nothing I can do on my side, my apologizes. :(
Hello I have an issues where I can't change the flooring color by bucket, when I click on the flooring with the bucket a message will pop up that says: "Flooring_Wood Floor_fall has no alternative textures for this season!" how do I fix this and what should I do?
I am slightly confused, I think you wrote about the Alternative Textures version on the mod page for the Content Patcher version (They are separate mods pages). If you accidentally downloaded the Content Patcher version -which is this mod here (I also sometimes download the wrong mod, ahah!) here's the Alternative Textures version, which should work as it should with the bucket, brush, etc. Remember to delete the Content Patcher version folder! Let me know if that fixes the issue! :D
Thank you very much! :D Of course you can, simply set "false" (in the json file or in the GMCM mod in-game) on the items you don't want edited/recolored, and they'll stay in their original vanilla version! Thank you again for checking out my mod! :D
Thanks for making this awesome mod! I would like to ask how to use different gates for different fences? My doors in the game all seem to look the same.
There was a problem with snow covering the fence in the winter, the snow from the stone fence disappeared and covered the wooden fence. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks

If you see any problem please use the Bugs tab and, if possible, post screenshots and a SMAPI log if there are warnings from it, thanks!
Thanks for the patience and enjoy!
