This is awesome. The only alteration I would suggest, is making it so you can watch them transition, and have dialog/events revolving around it. Buut that's a LOT of work ;p
Yayyy I'm so happy to see this! The old mod was working for me until I got to winter and she looked like default Sebastian again. I went looking for any patches for that and found this update. I love Viola!! Thank you for the update!!! <3
I'm so glad to see this mod updated! When it broke in 1.6 I spent a really long time figuring out how to make it work. What I ended up doing was replacing the portraits and sprites in the DSV sebastian add-on with the ones in your mod, and drawing new ones for all of the outfits in there. I'm excited to have this version now!
damn, this looks so good i just don't know if i can part with her design in diverse stardew valley. is there an option to disable portraits and maybe sprites for this mod? i love your changes to be clear, i'm just used to her and robin being vietnamese as i've played with dsv from the beginning so it would be jarring to see her turn white lol. if not, i'm sure i'll cave and start a new save with her anyway!
The mod unzips into two separate folders within Stardew Valley/Mods, so you should just be able to delete [CP] Transfem Sebastian (Viola) - Sprites to play with DSV 👍
It's VIOLA because Viola is Sebastian's cross-dressing sister in twelfth night... can't believe it took me that long to figure it out. Anyways cool sprite and portrait work! I like it :)
Regarding the bug where the game doesn't display the correct sprites for Viola when you marry her, I've just figured what is happening, which is that the bachelorettes' wedding sprites are on a different row of the spritesheet than the bachelors', meaning that setting the character's gender as female tells the game to display sprites from the wrong row. I'm currently trying to figure out a fix for this.
Edit: Everything should now work correctly, at least in singleplayer. There is a chance that the wedding sprites may not display correctly in multiplayer for other players who are watching the wedding and not marrying Viola themselves. If this happens to you please let me know, because I have no way of testing it myself for now.
