   I downloaded the files and replaced both the character and portrait .xnb files, and they worked fine, but after I downloaded the marriage mod, it returned back to the vanilla files. I can't seem to replace them again?

      That's odd? I have the marriage mod downloaded myself and it works perfectly fine. I know the marriage mod comes with its own set of portraits so maybe those replaced it? I know you mentioned that you can't seem to replace them again but I'm unsure what else the issue could be.

   i tried downloading these and it didn't work? i unzipped it and put all the files in the correct folders but nothing happened. can anyone help?
   
   EDIT: nevermind, realized i had to replace the files in the marriage mod as well! sorry about that haha. i love this mod a lot!
