Hi there! I was also wondering if you could make this compatible with A Toned Down Stardew Valley. I noticed you said below that it doesn't edit the walls and floors and therefore should already match, but the problem with the flooring goes away when I remove ATDSDV, (along with several other people confirming the same thing having the same issue) and when comparing the sprites for the floorstrip fix to the spouse room flooring, you can see a difference in color so there must be some kind of editing that was done to the flooring right? Perhaps a compatibility patch with tilesheets matching each spouse room floor in that mod would be easiest to fix the issue. I wish I knew more about editing tilesheets or I would be glad to help. I think this is an awesome mod but I also love A Toned Down Stardew Valley and I really don't want to have to give up on either one :( please help!! I'd be happy to post a picture to give you an idea of what we're all talking about if that would be more helpful as well!!
Not the mod author, but the floor strip should be fixed in Stardew 1.4, according to the change log "The hallway to the spouse’s room in a two-story farmhouse now matches the bedroom flooring" : https://www.stardewvalley.net/stardew-valley-1-4-update-full-changelog/
Try to play without this mod. If you still have problems, issues with the strip will probably have to be addressed by the mod author of A Toned Down Stardew Valley. There shouldn't be any issues though. :)
As far as I can tell, A Toned Down Stardew Valley does not edit the walls_and_floors textures, so it should be compatible already aside from perhaps the Shane cleanup. Did you see a specific problem?
I'm actually noticing an issue with A Toned Down Stardew Valley. When I remove it, your mod functions perfectly. When I place the mod back in my game, boom. Floor strip goes back to ugly! Any suggestions? (apart from removing ATDSV - looking for other reskins though just in case.)
Could you please make the altering of Pam's room in her new house an option instead of combining it with the Shane's room option? I am using the Tidy Pam mod and I do not want this mod to interfere with that one.
The two maps use the same sprites so it is difficult to separate them, however I'll take a look to see if the newest Content Patcher location functions will allow me to do so. Compatibility with Tidy Pam will depend on whether that mod alters the spritesheets or the map itself though.
The floor strip will match the unmodded spouse room, although if there is a particular mod you have in mind, I could look into making a compatible texture for it.
It looks like that mod uses the same base floor as Elliott's original room and only changes the furniture and other decorations, so this mod should work fine with that.
Small update today following a request on Discord to add compatibility for the Spouse Room to Bathroom Mod by Zosa and foggywizard. If that mod is installed and a config variable is set, the tile texture from that mod will be used for the floor strip (and default floor in general.)
Unfortunately, this mod relies on Content Patcher features that weren't present until version 1.4, and that version requires version 1.3+ of the game and version 2.6+ of SMAPI.

I will still leave it up for now for those running 1.3
