I don't want my mod to be unfair, so I will make time slower proportionally to the % of players in the skull cavern. Today I will change that and update the code on github :)
Last time I updated was in July and since then there was a Smapi update, which could break something. I will update my mod soon, but just in case I will have another playtrough probably in near future, so I will test my mod personally
The mod worked fine for me for about 2 days, then it suddenyl stopped. it still shows a green half when my partner is in a menu but it doesnt when i am and correspondingly also doesnt pause the time, any ideas?

This situation is strange, because I have no clue why would my mod work and then stop working. Mod is not saving any data and should work regaldless of your progress. Does anyone have a fix for when you're playing local co-op/splitscreen whenever the host closes their inventory/menu, their player model flashes? Doesn't occur if the farmhand has their inventory open when the host closes theirs. Not game breaking or anything but does get a bit annoying.
You don't need this mod in local co-op/splitscreen. My mod imitates time pause from base game. But in local co-op my mod is redundant, as local co-op has pause build in. In next update I will make a fix, so that my mod works only if there is player connected remotely
Update to 1.6 coming today. Sorry for not doing it right as soon as 1.6 hit live. I have loving-ghosting relationship with SV. It is my favorite game, because not only gameplay is great, but also I can fulfill my programming passion by making mods. But sometimes i forget about SV for months :/

For those looking for another means till this gets updated, it looks like Aurpine is making a similar mod. It's in early stages, so expect some bugs; But it does about the same thing (minus seeing when someone is in a "paused" state. It simply pauses and shows an icon when criteria is met). The biggest thing I noticed, which matches the bug list, is that a new player joining may bug it out a little. I restarted the world/server, had her rejoin, and it worked fine afterwards. Regardless, I'll at least be using it till this mod gets updated.

I think I managed to fix the mod to work on version 1.6 / SMAPI 4.0. I have no experience in mods, but as a C# developer it seemed a pretty simple fix that's been working for my boyfriend and I. To use it you just need to replace the MultiplayerTime.dll in StardewValley/Mods/MultiplayerTime by the one on this link: https://file.io/vKBWRrMZeHTk

Hello everyone, Sorry for not updating the mod for 2 + years and leaving it vulnerable to "new" rings. I have played other games and didn't have motivation or friends willing to play SV with. Since then I got girlfriend and am unsuccessfully looking for a job in gamedev (testing or game/economy design or managing Discord). About year ago I've told her that one day I would like to play SV with her, but first I have to update my mods. Yesterday she asked if we could play SV, so that gave me my motivation <3
Mod is updated and will not cause any save file or magnetism problems. I will work on updates with freezing monsters, fixing new bugs and maybe new features :D
