Hey guys! I would appreciate it if we could cool it on discussing permissions (This goes for anyone trying to come to my defense as well. This is all way too stressful for my comfort game lol)
I have had this post cleared by a Nexus moderator, but I will clarify for anyone who is confused.
The only assets I used belong to Poltergeister and stanloona420. Both of these authors give permission for their assets to be used as long as they are credited. Stanloona420 includes this permission on their profile and Poltergeister includes this permission within their own post. Poltergeister does credit other artists in their permissions, but if you look closely and scroll down through it, the only assets that include anything that DON'T belong to Poltergeister are the Summer, Winter Indoor and Winter Outdoor outfits. I did not use any of those three files in my edits. Therefor all credits for the clothing go to Poltergeister and all credits for the hair/head goes to stanloona420.
I hope this clears up any and all confusion. Again, if either of the two creators come forward and request that this gets taken down, I will gladly do so. Please, just leave it between those of us directly involved in these files and the moderation team.

I had the same problem. I'm on windows 10 so I downloaded aukzip from my microsoft store and opened the files through that app. It worked and I was able to get the image files!
thanks for the update! Just a heads up, the character folder in the v1 file doesn't have an s at the end so only the portraits folder will be prompted to be replaced, unless you rename the folder/go into it and put the sprites in
Do you have permission to use these assets? Neither of the mods you've used have open permissions, so the assets cannot be used however you like and you also haven't credited the Slightly Cuter Aesthetic artists appropriately. If you don't have permission, then this is art theft.
stanloona gave open permissions on their profile for all their mods, but yeah they'll still need to get permissions and have credit for the slightly cuter half of the mod.
Edit: Honestly going back and looking through all the credits more thoroughly all of Abigail's new outfits included in this mod were made by poltergeister and they have open persmissions as well so I don't really see much problems with the permissions given.
Yeah, just like Unitaytoe said, I made sure to check that there were general permissions to use the assets I used as long as credit was given. Stanloona420's profile gives permission, and Poltergeister's permissions and credits also state that their assets can be used with credit given to them.
It is definitely not my intention to steal anyone's art, and I tried to make it clear in the description that none of the assets are my own. If any creators involved in these designs comes forward and asks for me to take this down or change something I will gladly do so.
Originally I wasn't even going to upload these for public use. These were made completely for personal use. I ended up making a post on stanloona420's mod to ask if they would like the images to add to their own upload, but I haven't heard a reply. After reassurance from others in the replies and checking permissions, I decided to upload it here. Honestly, the offer still stands for stanloona420. If they want to add the images to their own file then my mission is done and I will take this down :)

This has already been discussed and approved by a moderator on Nexus but I can clarify further for you. If you look more closely at the permission and credits on Poltergeister's page, you can scroll down and see which assets belong to who. The assets for Abigail are all owned by Poltergeister except for their Summer, Winter Indoor and Winter Outdoor files. I did not use anything from the three files that are credited to other creators. I hope that clears some things up!
Thank you for clarifying and I'm glad to see that everything is in order. My apologies for not realising you hadn't simply used all of the SCA outfits, as most people making these sorts of adaptations do.
For everyone else that's decided to paint me as a villain for this, I've been in the SDV modding community for about five years now. I have seen a lot of people decide that just because a mod author has posted something online, that automatically means that they can do whatever they like with it, and that number has probably tripled since 1.6 released. I have had my own art and mods stolen (with another mod using my art without permission posted today, in fact) and I have seen good friends have their art and mods stolen, particularly in regards to seasonal outfits art. There's been a few that turned out to be misunderstandings, such as here, but the vast majority have not. I'm not going to apologise for being protective of other mod authors, but I hope that people can have some empathy for my position here.
If you disagree, please respect smartichoke and not reply to this. I'd prefer if it didn't turn into an argument.

i hope Airyn reads the mod author's page and stops taking down to updates to the revised mods... the original mod author didn't go back and update the older seasonal mods to match the permissions of their bio and more recent seasonal mods.
but anyhow, great work updating the sprites and portraits!! excited to use this, cuz i've missed stanloona's mods sm
