I really wish this mod would get updated to fit 1.5+ Stardew.... it seems like such an useful mod, the default cursor targetting is very archaic

Oh I remember using this mod in the early days of modded stardew, it was great, I'm assuming from the previous comment it doesn't work with 1.4, I'll give it a try and hope for the best.

There is an unofficial update by Pathoschild here https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/updating-mods-for-stardew-valley-1-3.142524/page-55#post-3324498

I have to stop swinging my sword in order for it to change the direction I'm swinging. For example, I'm spamming my sword swing to the left, while still spamming I move the cursor to the right and I still swing left. I don't remember having this issue when I first started to use this mod. Is it not working correctly or am I just imagining things.

Can you provide a game log? It sounds to me like the mod isn't running.

Hey, sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question, what exactly does the mod do? not seeing too much different outside of attacking towards my cursor, am I using this wrong?

Nope that's about it. It just expands the default 4-tile snapping to 8 tiles.

Any chance we can get an update that will lock our rotation when doing an animation? E.g when getting a kiss from your spouse and you face the other way causes your hair and clothes to float behind you

"Works with Stardew Valley 1.3 beta on Windows." I take it this means it doesn't work on Mac? Is this something that's possible to change in a future update or is it by nature a Windows-only mod?

It is only supported on Windows because I only have a Windows machine for testing. Unfortunately I don't have the time to set up a virtual machine for development with Mac and Linux right now.

does this also fix the insanely annoying way the weapons and scythe directions work?

It works with the scythe, I haven't tested weapons but they should behave the same as the scythe

just checked, works like a charm. I can now stop swinging the wrong direction when fighting monsters.

also, it seems to have a side effect of extending the range of certain actions like picking up furniture from a distance. is this intended?

I'm moderately sure that you could pick up furniture from any range before, but I could be wrong on that. If that is behaviour specifically from my mod it's unintended.

It depends on the furniture. Some you can just pluck up from wherever and some you have to get close enough too to touch.
