I am slowly in the process of working on the next update, which will be out soon to address some typos, add a German translation ( thanks to Mju ), and a few more bugs to find. It will also include mail that is only received when specific bugs have been donated. (utilizes a new game state query from another mod I have created!)
Current news about the next update:
I am in the process of writing all of the mail, this will be done hopefully within the week. I had to create an entire C# mod in order to get the mail system to work the way I want it to, which is why there hasn't been an update yet.
A couple more bugs have been added, but not many yet. I am open to suggestions/assistance when it comes to adding more bugs.
Nature in the Valley made bugs appear in the map - as you wanted. You can make an integration there. Also Bingus bug has no sprite or description yet...
That Nature in the Valley mod seems neat, I will have to maybe look into intergrading this mod with it, though it may take some time, since I'd have to change the items so they are no longer donated to the museum.
As for the Bingus "bug", this has been reported a couple of times, I will try and set aside time this weekend to look into removing the item entirely, as it was only there as a joke between me and a friend, and not meant for public releases.

You have tagged your mod as translation so it doesn't show up to people who have that tag blocked. Just a friendly heads up. Translation tag is for translations only. Love the sprite work though!
That's a good idea, or maybe a new location with its own separate building to donate them? An insectarium, maybe you could take a train to this location, much like the Stardew Aquarium?
Hi I ran into an item that has to translation and no sprite, something called a bingus? I can donate it to the museum but I'd rather not to that with an item missing a sprite, so I'm not sure what to do about it?
I had this also. I have a blank spot on the artifact page and when I donated it to the museum, it donated but the spot remains blank and where I put it has a "shadow" but no image.
Hello! at the time being, I am still new to modding and so far I only have been adding a few mods to see if they will give errors and if they work correctly. at least, what's being noticable by a quick walk on the first day.
When I started a new game on Grandpa's Farm, this mod did not give any errors. However, when I started a new game on the Frontier Farm, I got the the following logs:
"'[23:06:19 WARN Content Patcher] Can't apply data patch "Bugs in the valley > Include data/locations.json > EditData Data/Locations #2" to Data/Locations: the field 'Farm_FrontierFarm' doesn't match an existing target [23:06:19 WARN Content Patcher] Can't apply data patch "Bugs in the valley > Include data/locations.json > EditData Data/Locations #11" to Data/Locations: the field 'Farm_FrontierFarm' doesn't match an existing target [23:06:19 WARN Content Patcher] Can't apply data patch "Bugs in the valley > Include data/locations.json > EditData Data/Locations #27" to Data/Locations: the field 'Farm_FrontierFarm' doesn't match an existing target [23:06:19 WARN Content Patcher] Can't apply data patch "Bugs in the valley > Include data/locations.json > EditData Data/Locations #47" to Data/Locations: the field 'Farm_FrontierFarm' doesn't match an existing target"
This was in yellow, which to my rookie knowledge does not mean it is a critical error. So far I have not played further, so I have no idea what effect it will or might have. Nonetheless, I thought I should bring it up, just in case.
Like I said before, I am far from being knowledged in modding or coding, but I think this means that for four bugs (those insectoid bugs you do want to find), their location does not excist on this specific map (the Frontier Map)?
I also wonder if this means that it just doesn't locate them on those four spots at that time, yet like with artifacts, they will still be able to be spawned/found later on other spots?
Just wanted to let you know—your mod gives the mail a totally unique look! It was a fun surprise to come across this first thing; definitely added some unexpected excitement to the day!

Removed the tag, hope this gets some more eyes.
