Nice to see the map public What people think about it?
I wanted a sort of a small map with all fishing zones (river, ocean, mountain lake) without the urge to go mass farming. The game has some limitations so not every "cool idea" was possible, but this is as close as it gets (+maybe enlarging water here and there for iridium perfect catches).
It is brilliant! Just downloaded it and can't wait to play. I took a little peek, and because I replaced the Riverlands Farm, it still comes with a smoker – perfect for a fishing challenge run! And the little beach area is so sweet with tons of forage (at least on the first day – we'll see as I progress). And I LOVE the quarry in the back. It's cute and sweet and way better than the Riverlands Farm it's replacing with every kind of fish (ocean and river as RL farm should be!!!). Love, love, love it! Thanks to you and to liunianhui for making this lovely little replacement for RL.
PS: Like you, I don't like to go mass farming because that's boring and predictable. I like to set myself challenges, and since we have smokers now, I thought a fishing challenge would be fun. Along came this mod and viola!
Yes, I'm loving all the foraging on this map. Oooh, always winter? How would that work? It sounds fantastic! And a fun challenge run. I suppose it'd have to be a foraging map, right? Perfect for if you wanted to do a one-skill challenge run with foraging (although wild seeds now give farming XP, so that might be harder, on second thought). Still, it would be super fun!
Liu, may I just say how impressed I am by all your wonderful farm maps? I've downloaded one to replace every vanilla map:
– Small Beach Farm (most recent one): Riverland – Comfortable: Hilltop – Moon Beach: Forest (due to all the lovely woods) – Mini: Wilderness (for minimalist challenge runs) – New Small: Meadowlands – Small Farm 2 (alternate layout): Standard – Archipelago: Beach (so excited to see how it progressively grows!) – Simple Farm 2: Four Corners (well, because it literally has four corners and I love how precise it is!)
Your designs are super creative and interesting. I particularly love the Community Center Tree, which allows you to complete the CC on a no energy, single-skill foraging, or hermit run. Perfect! Quick question: Is it only for vanilla bundles or also for remixed bundles (legacy/1.6)?
Honestly, I can't wait to try them all! And I'm excited about the new slime hutch, which seems much more fun and humane than boxing them in with barriers. Thank you for all your hard work!
Yes!!! I love the new small farm, but my heart belongs to the vanilla beach farm. For a weeks I’ve been debating saving up for a commission and you release this beauty!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Another map I'm thinking about is always-winter one.
