No. Didn't count those as that will take too much time and is not practical either. And I can't think of why you would need it. If you are planning to compare with another mod I suggest taking full map screenshots from mod page and comparing them side by side using the character as reference. For this mod, try using the first picture. Character is standing at the entrance in top left.
I know this comment is from a while ago, but I felt the need to count it out for my own curiosity, so: This layout has 13,896 tillable spots for crops! There are 114 5x5 plots, 2 10x5s, 3 20x15s, 32 20x10s, 5 15x30s, 18 3x24s, and 1 10x15. I just scaled the image down in MSPaint so that one tile was one pixel in order to measure it easier :)
Thank you. The reason why I need it and is necessary to include it is because of the number of crops I have in my game. I wanted to plant each and every crop, but did not want to plant a mere one each.
That's new. I've never heard of that happen. Can you check if you are using a mod that relates to construction or gives you multiple greenhouse you can construct? I think the error might be related to one of those. This mod does almost nothing to the game except for replacing original greenhouse map, so it is unlikely that the issue is because of this mod.
Wow. Just... wow. I wished I discovered it sooner before i had set up my greenhouses (I used another greenhouse mod). It's gonna be a lot of work but its gonna be worth it. Nice mod!
Honestly this isnt about the mod, but everytime I try to implement a greenhouse mod, it doesn't pull through and I just get a regular greenhouse, Ive even tried different farms and I cant just figure out what is the problem, please help a girl out im begging
If all other mods work and you are having problems with greenhouse, I am not very good at debugging but I'll try to help. One thing you need to know is that if you have more than one mods modifying the same thing, SMAPI will disable all of those. So check if you have any more mods that modify the greenhouse.
Do you use any mods that modify the farm? Some farm mods come with their own greenhouse, so you will need to disable the included greenhouse to get other greenhouse mods to work. Instructions on how to do it will be included in the farm mod's page.
If it still doesn't work, take a log and reply with the link here. Here's the site to help with the log: https://smapi.io/log
I didn't make a tutorial for this or any map, or modding of any sort. But if you wish to get into map modding, this should get you started. I used this as well.
Can confirm, you can grow giant crops! 10/10, I really enjoy this mod. I've been thinking of modding in new crops, so this works perfectly. Especially good space for my cheese and mayo produce. I'm not sure *if* normal trees were intended for the tree spots, but I needed more oak syrup. There is a small visual bug for them, but overall the trees grow well.
Thanks a lot for confirming that! Great to know it works. It should behave like a normal greenhouse, so I am not sure how the bug is happening. If you manage to grow fruit trees, see if the same issue is happening with them as well. I haven't done any extensive testing with the mod. But I am also inclined to believe that it could be related to other mods.
If you want to try testing it further, you can try installing the Build More Greenhouses mod, and enable Compatibility Mode and try planting the normal trees in the second greenhouse to see if the issue is still occurring. Compatibility Mode will build the second one as a vanilla greenhouse so you can test the issue properly.
Sorry for the late message, I went on a trip for six days after receiving this and couldn't bring my laptop, haha.
So I did what you asked and downloaded the "More Greenhouses" mod! (Using the compatible mod) Basically, it's just a visual issue. Meaning the trees work perfectly fine, they grow normally and have no issues with sap. I planted the same Oak tree in the vanilla greenhouse, and the visual bug isn't over there. Here! And the trees in your greenhouse here! As for the fruit trees-- they're working completely fine.
It may just be one of *my* mods that's messing with yours, I'm just not sure which. But overall, it's small enough of an issue where it doesn't matter much. The tree slumps seem to be just layered in the front instead of the usual back where they're placed; everything else has been working great!
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for verifying! Sorry, but I have no clue why this is happening or how to fix it. If I had to suspect, it is related to map layers, but I can't say for certain if the issue is by default, or another mod is messing with the layers. I don't have enough information regarding how trees work to try and fix this. I will try reproducing the issue on my end in a few days. Will let you know the result then.
I tried it out but could not reproduce it. Here is what my green house looks like. I am wondering if it might be related to the color scheme/theme mod you are using. Could you try disabling it and checking if it still happens?
Edit: Alternate Link to image. I couldn't access it after uploading the first one.
You should have named this "If Insanity were a Greenhouse". I swear I got lost just looking around. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, it's just too much for my play style. It did give me a bit of chuckle though. Great job on this one!
If you already have a greenhouse and have placed crops or items in it, then it will cause a problem. If the objects placed in the greenhouse overlap the positions of new ones, there will be conflict of some sort. If you are using the vanilla greenhouse you will probably lose items placed along the right wall and the ones that overlap the area of the warp magic books. The crops in the top half and right most two columns will likely be lost as well. Everything else should be fine. If you want to switch to this mod, I recommend clearing out the greenhouse to avoid any conflicts.
My fruit trees stopped producing fruit in the greenhouse for some reason. Everything else is growing fine. It might be a bad interaction with one of my other mods, not sure.
The mod doesn't contain enough code to modify the way fruit trees work. So it most definitely is another mod. I remember making it exactly like a normal greenhouse, so fruit trees should work fine. If you want to verify you can try adding fruit trees to the vanilla greenhouse(by removing this mod) or try a multiple greenhouse mod. If fruit trees have the same result in other greenhouses, then you can check for mods that modify fruit tree behavior and ask there.

I know normal trees can take a lot longer to grow depending on their chance percentage so no need to worry about taking a while haha.
