Super interesting! Afew questions though (if you don't mind)- how would one go about adding their own dye variations (either to the vanilla styles- or potentially even to a custom style)?

Secondly, would compatibility with something like an "animated hair" mod be possible?-- I'm not requesting it- I'm just wondering if it'd be simple enough for someone as inexperienced (with code) as me to make it work...

Thanks! I don't mind. Honestly, anyone can make their own variations for any hairstyle (custom, or vanilla), there's no special skill or obscure tool needed.

What you do need is to become familiar with Fashion Sense and how it works. So if you're interested definitely download the example pack PeacefulEnd uploaded for FS and take a look at the different json files and folder structures.
This guide they made also helped me a ton when I was figuring out how to make FS packs.
Originally I made the two-toned hairstyles as Hair instead of Accessory and I really don't recommend that, it's super tedious to make the layers dyeable seperately, while also having to tweak the dyejob.
You can also totally take a look at my mod's json files to see how I did things. Other than that, you need an editing software (gimp or krita are free for example) and basic picture editing skills, Notepad (definitely use Notepad++) for editing json files and if you want to do vanilla hairstyles that I haven't uploaded yet, you'd need to extract the xmb files of the game (it's really easy) and find the hairstyles pngs.
For custom styles you would just need the png of the mod to edit (if you want to upload them, of course check if the author permits it).

As for animated hair, I have thought about it before, too. Looking into it, it really doesn't appear to be very difficult, just a bit more work with making more frame variations.
The rest is pretty similar, with the only addition of having to add code for the animation (which looks pretty straightforward to me, though I haven't tried).
I don't know much about coding either, so don't worry lol.
      Just remember:
      - any open bracket will need to be closed again eventually
      - commas are important and need to be placed right (those are easy to overlook when you're trying to find a mistake)
      - always check the smapi log, if something is wrong it will tell you what line in the json file it has a problem with
      - always cross reference jsons from the FS example pack or the guide if you are unsure about something

I think that's the basic overview of things. Hope it helps! If you have more specific questions just ask and I'll see what I can do :)

Thank you so much! I love these! If I can have one thing changed, can the bang dye for 44 cover the entire bangs? So that little top area too? It's how I used to dye my bangs when I was able too <3

Hi! Would it be possible to make 30 with the bangs as well as long money pieces? I found this style works on a modded hair I love and I want to make the hair I have in real life :)

    hello! really enjoying this mod so far! can i request a split dye (and money piece if its doable on that style) of hair 69 please, and thank you! also are you using a mod for the blonde color on the hairstyles in the pictures? i can't seem to get that color myself and can't find a mod for natural hair colors ;~;

hi, glad you enjoy! i just uploaded the new files. wasn't quite sure how you'd like the money piece best, so i made some variation :) if you'd like some changes made let me know.
and i don't use any mod for the colors, but yeah, getting blonde to look nice is very tricky :')
i did color the full hair from the optional file in fashion sense though. from top to bottom the values are 25, 90, 69.
i checked, and these don't work in the regular character creation menu, it gives you a bright green lol. i messed around a bit and i got a similar color when not using FS with 8, 57, 79 or something along those lines.
      hope that helps!

sure thing! is there anything specific you have in mind for the hair? what I think would work best would be dip dye or a money piece/full dyed bangs. thoughts? (also thank you! glad you like it)

This is lovely work with the two-toned hair and overlays, but beyond that -- I've been looking all over for a mod that adds vanilla hair to Fashion Sense, and hadn't found any before yours! Thank you!
