Hello there! your mod looks extremly cool, and i really love haley a lot. But i have a question. the lines are regarded to her ingame heart events, right? and since thats maybe true, does it still work if shes married? because, it would be pretty cool to hear her talking to her spouse, telling me about her interests as we are married, and i didnt see anything saying that even after marriage it works, so thats why im asking. i dont know, perhaps im just a bit lost.

Haley does still work after she's married, of course! I have her marriage dialogue edited, and plan to add more in her next update! She'll say different things once/if the farmer marries her, as the relationship will be different.

Do you happen to know if it works well/poorly with Miihau's Haley Event Expansion (and I have the same question with your Penny dialogue mod and their event expansion mod) from a character perspective? I'm slowly building up my mod list to start a 1.6 save and thought I'd ask since you may be familiar already with those mods.
I'm not sure about how it works with Haley Event Expansion, or Penny's! As of now, mine just affects dialogues for day to day and marriage. I don't know if they did much tweaking to their characters, so I don't want to answer definitively! If someone wants to try it out and let me know, I'm more than open to it!

I haven't actually started a save, but I did look through the events of the other mod and also read through some of your dialogue and I absolutely adore how you wrote Haley and that's plenty enough for me be happy using your mods. I wouldn't say Miihau's mods are incompatible as far as story/character at all, but yours are definitely more to my taste and will be part of my main save when I get to starting that.

I have a question about how you see Haley, and I am not intending to be critical. It is just I feel too many people seem to see Haley as a "Mean Girl", whilst I just see her as a self-centred rude/blunt girl. I have no issue with people seeing characters differently to me, but it makes it a bit off-putting when i download a mod, and suddenly Haley is actually saying mean things instead of just rude/blunt things in the early days of your interaction with her.
I'll provide details and examples to attempt to cover all of my bases. Firstly, if you don't enjoy a mod, you don't have to use it! Secondly, Haley is described by ConcernedApe as "...a little conceited and self-centered. She has a tendency to judge people for superficial reasons."
Haley's original Introduction:If it weren't for those horrendous clothes you might actually be [cute/pretty]. Actually, nevermind. Mine: Wow. I would've expected someone from the city to be better dressed...
The only difference is that she doesn't outright call the clothes "horrendous." As she grows more comfortable, Haley begins talking about other things and interests. She warms up to the farmer pretty fast! In canon, Haley also openly ignores the farmer. She doesn't do that in my mod. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions!
Ooh, good question! Unfortunately, I'm not sure! My mods only edits existing dialogue and adds new lines. If anything, one mod may override the other in terms of what Haley says! I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to co-exist. If you do notice an incompatibility, let me know and I'll see if I can either find a fix or I'll add it into the mod description!
I am happy to see someone else who was.. Uncomfy about how Haley's arc went. I liked her breaking free of the "popular girl" trope and embracing what the valley had to offer but didn't like that it meant looking down on stuff like shoppin.
I live in a lil town too and love it, but don't mean I don't enjoy goin' to the city on occasion and being able to go shoppin at proper stores instead of Walmart. It doesn't have to be one or the other, you can like multiple things.
this is very cool, it always felt a bit sad that the bachelors kinda lose some of their person when you marry them and while I never married Haley myself I think this mod is a nice thing. ofc she can also try out reading books, but reading magazins is also fine and she does not need to give up on that. Every kind of reading is fine, books of different genres, magazines, manga, comics, visual novels etc.
Bless you forever and ever and ever. I've made a mod of my own fixing the books line (THE most infuriating part for me personally), but this mod looks even better!
...Any plans on fixing Sam to not stop playing the guitar after marriage? :sob:
Don't worry, I fixed that line! Magazines count as reading too!
I have plans on fixing ALL of the characters and their dialogues, don't worry! I want them all to maintain who they are instead of becoming generic shells!

I plan to do most, if not all, of the NPCs! I'm doing them in order of inspiration and interest!
