Hello, great work on this, however I noticed there are noticeable gaps when used with custom portrait like Nyapu's Portraits. Is there any way, beside adding the something to the gap with the overlay?
EDIT: could you make a version that only overlays the portrait, not the rest of the square? It could be compatible with all kinds of things :3 (I'm going to make that edit myself rn in my copy bc I use Vintage Interface v2 and I want that)
EDIT2: here's the code I used: "FromArea": { "X": 26, "Y": 8, "Width": 64, "Height": 64, }, "ToArea": { "X": 608,//583, "Y": 419,//411, "Width": 64,//115, "Height": 64,//97 }, There's three places where "ToArea" needs to be replaced with this ^^ it works!
but Idk if you notice but to avoid having the portraits floating I had to resize the frame to be 2 pixels smaller in height and width and because of this I think I would have to manually make patches for recolors for the perfect look
hi there! first off let me say i adore this mod, it really adds to the immersion and its super awesome to see, and i love the art. the work you're doing here is great!
secondly, I was wondering if it'd be be okay for me to make a version to utilizes softer, pastel colors? it'd be very barebones editing, just using overlay filters on the art assets with softer colors. i mainly just mention it as I'm using the pink lolita interface by otohimexoxo and so the dialogue interface has a sharp color contrast when its all together which is something i imagine other people with similar UI's have an issue with.
Hello, I love this mod! I also have Farmer Portraits. The text always ends up spilling into the right side. I keep uninstalling the mod and hoping a new update will improve the text box alignment haha.
On a very old version of PCS (1.1.2?) I managed to have no text issue when the DDF part was removed.
Maybe I'm not looking hard enough but I haven't seen someone else ask about this. Farmer Portraits for 1.6 mod has a Fix Text option which helps a little. Should I ask them for possible text changes instead?
Thanks for such an amazing mod! The immersion is so worth it. Let me know if a SMAPI log would help.
edit: after triple checking 5 different versions, I can confidently say it's not this mod affecting this text overflow anymore... (i think). Ignore my comment until further notice!
edit 2: For anyone out there with a similar problem, Dialogue Display Framework causes the textbox to spill over on the right. I had to uninstall, sadly. I have no idea how to make it work with Farmer Portrait.
hi!! I just wanted to say I adore this mod + your other mod weather wonders. They make the game feel so wonderful. Huge fan + looking forward to seeing more from you!! the rain / snow mix reminds me of spring and fall growing up in canada, it's probably my favourite.
Do you think you'll ever add custom portraits for weather wonders to this mod? No pressure of course but I think it could be fun!
Hey, thank you for the kind words, they made me so happy! Yes, I do intend to create backgrounds for Portraited Changing Skies for the new weather types from Weather Wonders. However, don't expect it to be done soon though; I'm currently focusing solely on Weather Wonders. I still have plenty to do yet, hehe. 😅
The good news is that you can expect a new content update for Weather Wonders to be out soon! ;)

The following are the UI mods that I use:
Portraited Changing Skies
Portrait Frame Variations
DDFC
Nyapu's Portrait
EDIT: Nevermind, found the issue that is [DFF] Hearts and Gifts causing the portrait to not align properly. Sorry for the trouble.
Am I doing something wrong?

If you want to make your game feel even more alive I recommend you my other mod Weather Wonders! ^^
EDIT: The manifest needs to be amended from "aedenthorn.DialogueDisplayFramework" to "mangupix.DialogueDisplayFrameworkContinued".
