Amazing mod, works great for stubborn little areas where flooring usually can't cover. Question: would it be possible to have it work with textures added by other mods? In particular I was hoping to use it with Spouse Walls and Floors as some of the spouse rooms use floor textures that aren't in the vanilla catalogue, and so can't be texture matched.
Mod works great though, thanks again for making it!
I would like to add Spouse Walls and Floors textures, but don't have permission to use their textures. Instead, I can tell you how I do it if you want to do it yourself:
1. find the floor textures in the mod files (usually under the "assets" folder) 2. use this sprite cutting tool to split the file into individual textures: - for the bigger rug, just count the number of columns and rows - for the smaller rug, multiply both columns and rows by 2 3. rename the files obtained with " texture_ " followed by a progressive number (start from 88 for the bigger rug, and from 352 for the smaller one). I use Bulk Rename Utility to do it 4. add the textures to my file folder: - for the bigger rug, add the files in the LittleLessSmallCarpet folder - for the smaller rug, add the files in the ReallySmallCarpet folder 5. edit the texture.json file in both folders: change the number of "variations" to be the number of textures in the folder (i.e. the number of the last texture plus 1)
I hope it's understandable (English is not my native language)
This mod might be able to help with that if you turn on the more lax object placement option in GMCM. (Plus it's just so dingy dang useful) Stuff overlapping may not work but that shouldn't be an issue just with some carpets
