Suggestion, but it seems hard to do. Limit the campfire to certain foods because is kinda weird that you could make complicated dishes in a campfire. And it will also make the house upgrade have some reward with the kitchen.

Hi crans4me, Sorry that the mod currently only support SDV 1.3+. I'm still new to modding so I only familiar with 1.3. I may release one for 1.2 but not sure when I can make it.
This is a great mod! I have a request. Can you make it so or add an option so that 1) the first check action on the campfire lights it and opens the cooking menu 2) the second check action after the fire is lit only turns the campfire off. I just thought it'd be cool to be kinda realistic like that. Thank you for making an awesome mod.
Yes, because you can just check the campfire (or other items defined in config file) to cooking. Check action is x key on keyboard or A button on controller by default. You can modify keyboard check action key in the game. Config file is for determining which item could be checked to cook.

I would love to add an hunger mod alongside this one. And I was wondering if you could add some exclusive new recipies such as this:

I'm playing SDV 1.2.3, SMAPI 2.5.5.
Sorry that the mod currently only support SDV 1.3+. I'm still new to modding so I only familiar with 1.3. I may release one for 1.2 but not sure when I can make it.

Update: you can download a non-beta version now. Slightly different than bate version though.
UPDATE: It's done in 1.1.1-beta, now the menu opens only when you light a "cookable" object.
