Nice mod! Do you think it's possible to apply the same mechanic to tackle?

I play with durable tackle on so I haven't notice it but I will look into it to see if it's possible

Hi, the default behavior for tackle is already similar to this, meanig it will only got broken down if you hook a fish

Not sure if anyone else has encountered this but I've found a little issue with the mod.  It seems the way it does the "not consuming" bit is not actually by not consuming it, but by letting it be consumed, then just adding another bait onto the stack if it wasn't a fish that consumed it.  The issue here is that when you're using specialized bait (like rainbow trout bait for example)... when it does the replacement, it converts the whole stack into a generic "bait" that specializes in catching {0} fish, basically destroying its specialization.  Gyazo Pic

Hi, thank you for your feedback. This issue should be fixed in version 0.2.0. If there is any further problem, please let me know

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. Could you provide which bait you used? I couldn't reproduce the bug on my play test

After I updated to 0.2.0 this issue was indeed resolved, I'm guessing it was caused by conflicts with other mods, you can check it out

Hi, yes of course. I was using Harvester Trout bait made in a bait maker. The Harvester Trout is from Ridgeside Village.

I do have a suspicion it may be caused by a different mod altogether though, I will test that out and get back to you if I'm still experiencing the issue. Thank you!
  6. The toggle button seems to still be active even if it's configured as "None".
    1. Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the behavor you mentioned. Does this happen when you first install the mod or when you set the button through the config file or through generic mod menu?
    2. I just installed it, it's also the same button used in this mod: Lost Book Menu, so maybe there is an overlap on calls??

Hi!  I like the idea of this mod a lot, but I also have to agree with the other comments... this is the kind of mod you download and forget about.  You're not turning it on and off on a whim.  Having a toggle for it seems a bit silly, and tbh I've got a TON of mods with hotkeys already, and just don't really have the room for another hotkey.  So I'm going to track the mod for now :)

Hi, the toggle button has been set to none by default in version 0.1.1 so you can actually install and forget it now. Having that button is just a bad habit of mine to make everything toggle-able. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Hi!
    Nice mod
Can you consider making default toggle button "none"?
This mod feels like most users will want it on all the time if they downloaded it at all and already lots of mods use some buttons on a keyboard and it feels like a mess
But of course do it like you wish
    Thanks for the mod

Indeed, I'd even go so far and at most have the mod enabled or disabled in the menu. Normally if you want a mod like this (i.e Quality of Life and I do), you intend to keep it on or remove it. Requiring a button is the opposite of QoL, it's for utter necessities.
