FurnitureAnywhere will not be getting any more updates, as CA's teasers about 1.5 have shown that SDV will soon be allowing the functionality this mod provides natively.
Once 1.5 is released users should remove any outdoor furniture before they load their save in 1.5, then put it back after.
With the release of 1.5 this mod is now officially no longer supported.
WE NEED THIS BACKK ASAP !!! Im sure im not the only one who feels this way. even with the new 1.5 update we are unable to place ALL of the furniture outside. Just as an example and to me a HUGE reason this mod is still needed: I just downloaded a mod that adds a totoro character to my catalog of furniture, well guess what. I CANT PLACE IT OUTSIDE !!!! and im heartbroken. I understand the new 1.5 update allows some furniture to be placed outside but im sure i can speak for alot of people who like to heavily decorate like i do, WE NEED THIS BACK !!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come back to us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk to the mod author, having the furniture piece able to be placed outside is as simple as them setting a flag in the furniture information to true.
This mod was discontinued because it required a very hacky and buggy method to make furniture anywhere work, the vanilla furniture system is much safer and much more reliable.
It should be incredibly easy for someone to make a CP mod that flags any desired furniture piece as being able to be placed outside. Compared to the difficulty to get the hacky and partially broken version this mod required to work, the difference is sharp, and hence why I discontinued it.
Hi cozyauraa, I wanted to let you know that I'm working on a series of small mods to allow more furniture to be placed outside again using the flag that Entoarox mentioned. So far I've done lamps and fish tanks. You can find them here https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/18533 and here https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/18534. I hope this helps. If you have a particular category you'd like me to work on next, please leave a comment on one of those mods. :)
Entoarox, I apologize for hijacking your comment section! I hope it will be helpful to have a place to direct people who still have interest in this functionality. However, if you'd prefer I delete this comment, I will be happy to do so, just let me know.
@glymr Absolutely no problem, I am more then happy to see all these people who so desire the functionality get their desires met, I just know that this mod is not the right solution for it, and it is nice to be able to point people elsewhere for one!
That just means the DGA furniture is not tagged properly for the game to allow placing them outside, if the furniture gets properly tagged it will be placeable as any other properly tagged furniture in the vanilla game, that is the benefit of native support - no extra mods are needed.
for me does not appear the download button of this mod, I have already downloaded the other mod that is needed, but even so does not appear, I wanted to know what happened
This mod is no longer needed, as the feature it once provided has since become a vanilla feature, unless you are playing a outdated version of the game, which I would not recommend - you do not need this mod.
Is there a way for this to have an update to match with the Custom Furniture mods? Although the CF mod is now working, it can't be placed outside. I tried to use this before and somehow it works (green tile) but now it doesn't work again ㅠㅠ
Is there a possible unofficial update for this for furniture that can't be placed outside, such as rugs? I have a mod that turns a rug into a picnic area, and would love to use it outside, but can't due to the rug being furniture.
The way this mod handles furniture was designed to account for the inability to place furniture outside at all, so a unofficial update of it would not be a good idea.
Instead, a mod which re-assigns all furniture to the "outdoor furniture" group would be much smarter, since it will use the existing system the game has, and thus be far more reliable.
Re-assigning furniture to the "outdoor furniture" group can be done with a ContentLoader mod, simply by setting the 6th sub-field in `Data/Furniture` for that specific furniture to the value 1
It is really that easy to do, the benefit of outdoor furniture being officially supported by the game itself :)
Nothing stopping you from doing that with furniture as-is, out of bounds just means the tile is inaccessible without cheats, not that you cant put anything on it.

As I just read further down, I see that it is an issue with CF needing to account for the vanilla logic.
The way furniture anywhere worked was very much a product of game limitations, and subject to many *many* quirks and restrictions.
