I think 0.3, 0.6, 1.0, and 1.5 form a smooth curve, representing +0.3, +0.3 +0.3, +0.3+0.3+0.4, and 0.3+0.3+0.4+0.5 respectively. However, your mod does not support decimals, so changing the config will cause errors.

I too was getting crashes, but for me it was when opening fishing chests. I looked at luck a bit more and found on a "your feeling lucky" days, the score is reported as 0.072. With the purple rabbits foot it reports as 4.072. I think that means +400%, so it causes all kinds of weird things to happen that the code may not be able to handle. Hope this helps, its a great mod! I like the idea of the lucky foot being useful for more than gifting.

This is a modern (v1.6) version of https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/11447 Lucky Rabbit's Foot and most welcome since the other mod got abandoned 2 years ago.

You mean a Ring because a Trinket is something else, more <Interactive> instead of merely offering a stat buff like all Rings do.

From a balance perspective I would recommend you make the default 0.5

A +2 Luck bonus (which you will eventually get as Iridium Rabbit Foot is inevitable to drop eventually if you have a Rabbit) is quite significant

A +4 Luck bonus is overpowered compared to existing options in the game. It's almost a constant Magic Rock Candy.

Thanks for the mod! But I'm dreadfully curious, did you generate the description with AI or something? It's awfully verbose for a mod that just gives you a buff if you have an item in your inventory.

idk that i'd call it "awfully verbose"? sure, they repeated a phrase a couple times, but they're actually explaining the mod and how to, if wanted, configure it. i'd also prefer verbose to not explaining anything at all, yanno?

Besides the repetition, there's a lot of exaggeration in how it talks about the mod adding excitement and immersiveness, adding extra fluff adjectives and generic praises to talk up things that don't actually need to be described in great detail, including the rabbit's feet themselves, as the mod is ultimately pretty simple in function. A lot of AI chatbots talk in this same manner, being extremely passionate about mundane subjects.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯  the thing is, it's also kinda weird that you're fixating on that when a simple "hey, thanks" would've sufficed, you feel? i feel like you're delving too deep about it, my dude. don't be like the dwarves.

that said, to the author: hey, thanks! a nifty little bonus due to my iridium rabbit's foot is pretty amazeballs.
