A virus was detected in one of the downloads
That’s a false positive. They happen all the time, but more frequently with a new update or a file the antivirus software/your browser hasn’t “seen” many times prior. See the antivirus troubleshooting page on the modding wiki for more information.

To help reassure yourself or confirm, you can click through to the VirusTotal report Nexus runs on every uploaded file from the files tab. This is where you need to click:

Note that it’s not uncommon for there to be some false positives here either — again, especially with a newer file. If you’re in serious doubt, waiting around a week will usually be long enough for antivirus and browsers to realise the file is fine.

If you’re having a problem and need to ask for support

    • Upload a log to smapi.io, following the instructions there on how to do so even if you think it won’t help. It’s always important.
    • Explain what’s happening in as detailed a manner as possible. If explaining things will be too difficult for you, then a screen recording (or a recording of your screen with your phone) of the issue happening uploaded to YouTube will help a lot.

Don’t worry if you need to use translation software to translate your messages — that’s perfectly fine. Or feel free to post in your native language and I can translate myself.

If you don’t follow the two steps above, it will take longer for me to both get around to your problem and to solve it because I’ll need to ask you to do them anyway.

Quick question about defaults, I assume 1 = 100% so does 1.5 = 150%?, if I wanted 120% default zoom for outdoors would I set it to 1.2?

      You got it exactly right.

You'll actually be able to set zoom levels in the config that the game wouldn't normally let you go to as well. Anything below 0.25 will probably look terrible, though.

this is great because the game always froze for me when entering pierre's shop if the screen wasn't zoomed in to 170%.    so i always had manually zoom in and out when shopping.       So for this to auto zoom when entering to shop is great for me.
EDIT: Oh wait.  I thought it was a custom zoom for each area.   I only wanted Pierre's shop zoomed in really far, but not other indoor buildings.

It is! It just has a default zoom for both indoor and outdoor maps where you haven't set a custom one, which you can configure in the settings.

Now if Pierre's shop isn't remembering the zoom level, that's a bug... and I can look into that.

Omg I've been wanting something like this THANK YOU. It really bothered me that some mod maps had letterboxing on 4K screens, so I was constantly zooming in to the closest to accommodate those maps. Now I can have further out zoom on larger maps and have it change to smaller on tiny maps.

This sounds really useful! Once I finish updating all my mods to 1.6, I'll give this one a try too. Given the zoom can be automatically changed per map, do you think it would be possible to also set a default zoom when cut scenes trigger? I usually play zoomed out enough to see the map, but always forget to zoom back in for those, and they end up distorted or off center. That might be a completely different and more difficult problem to tackle though. Not sure.
