Everyone, these content packs are packed in RAR archive format. Please make sure you are using the LATEST version of your archive unpacking software. The latest version of WinRar and the latest version of 7zip are both capable of unpacking them.
I made a conversion for this mod that allows you to have multiple different dinosaur skins at the same time! I used the assets from this mod and also used Paritee's Better Farm Animal Variety (BFAV) to create my mod. It's called (BFAV) Additional Dinosaurs - Unofficial Conversion of Rurat's Dinosaurs. I think this is a bug within SMAPI. If you use anything except the most recent file, it acts like you don't have the most recent, even if the file you have is the newest of its variant.
:( I must still be having issues because it's still showing up and downloading as the Shiny version for me, even though it should be the regular. I'm not sure what's wrong.
Confirmed. For some reason, it feels like it's inconsistent which file Nexus downloads, regardless of how inconsistent it is. I'm updating the correct file with a new version number and creating a whole new entry for the file to see if it forces Nexus to update the right thing.
just tried the update the file won't unzip and i've used several types of unzip programs! They look cute! i really wanted one! the purple raptor was the one I was trying to unzip
Which files did you try? All of them should work, especially as the site is able to show the archive contents. These are RAR files and I use the nagware version of WinRar to make them. If you're having trouble with other archive applications unpacking them, WinRar should be able to do so.
I started up a new test farmer too. I'm also on the prowl, I wanna make sure I did the animations right. If you get there first, feel free to drop screenshots. ^-^
Sorry, it's what I had easily available and Nexus allows RAR archive formats to be uploaded, so I didn't think anything of it since WinRAR is free to download and use, even if it has some nag screens.
I'll look into this. Could you provide me the version number of your copy of 7-Zip, as well?
