Here's a food from my home, that me and my family enjoy.
I suppose it's up to interpretation, but when the description for poi correctly identifies it as a traditional food and Leo says its "from" his home... I kinda wanted a little less room for that interpretation. Being Polynesian myself, it felt a little odd to me. Anyways I rewrote it to:
Here's a food we make at home, that me and my family enjoy.
Easy peasy. It's literally a singular line. There's no config because it's literally one line.
Pairs well with mods like Pelican Town Potluck and a mod I plan on making to replace the "luau skirt" :/
FAQ:
Do I actually think that ConcernedApe intended for this line to be interpreted so that you think birds invented poi in the Stardew universe? No, of course not, because that would be kind of ridiculous. That's why I made it the title of the mod, because it would be wild if that were actually what was being implied. It's quite literally an edit to the dialogue, as in if I were an editor for the writing of this game, I would have changed this line to make the meaning clear. I made this mod for that reason, and figured that if I felt that way there might be other people who did too, so I shared my silly little one line mod that I already used in my own game. So, if you're about to go to the comment section to say that you're not bothered by this line or that you didn't interpret it that way, I'm sincerely happy for you. It just means that you don't need this mod.
