Personally, I love the big chunky boots the male farmer has and wanted my female character to have them as well.
If you are using Seasonal Outfits - Slightly Cuter Aesthetic or its nonseasonal counterpart you will need to turn off the FarmerBase option since the FamerBase option already changes the boots (makes both male and female farmer wear the same medium-size boots)
